- Dishui Lake - Your personal tour guide will meet you at your hotel at approximately 9:00am and transport you directly to Donghai Bridge, a journey that takes about 1.5 hours. This bridge is notable for being China’s first bridge to span the sea, and you’ll spend about 30 minutes driving across it.
- Yangshan Deepwater Harbor - Next, you’ll explore the Yangshan Deep Water Port. Following this, engage in a brief trek within the Yangshan scenic region for roughly an hour. Take advantage of the opportunity to snap some pictures at the summit of the hill within the scenic area, offering expansive views of both the Donghai Bridge and the Yangshan Deep Water Port.

Dishui Lake - Refresh yourself with a sumptuous seafood lunch (pre-selected menu) at a nearby eatery. Later in the day, make your way to Dishui Lake in the Nanhui district to discover the Shanghai New City area.

Explore the Donghai Bridge (East Sea Grand Bridge), the first sea-crossing bridge in China (the world’s largest sea bridge) and the famous Yangshan Deep Water Port, the world’s biggest deep water port in this 8-hour private tour. Enjoy the beautiful sightseeing of East Sea and its surrounding. Have a short hiking along the Yangshan scenic area including Shilong, Dazhitou and Xiaoyanjiao section. In addition, visit local fish market or Dishui Lake located in the Shanghai New City area based on your interests. A tasty local seafood lunch or dinner in set menu is included.

A great opportunity to experience the huge working trade infrastructure of China - Alana was an excellent tour guide. She was not over bearing and read the need of the client very well. She allowed for flexibility where it was required which made the tour feel like a true life experience. I opted not to choose the seafood feast at my request because I was still recovering from being ill the night before. Alana’s alternative suggestion and choice of restaurant was great. Also visited Dishui Lake which was a very nice place to see off the beaten track. Alana was knowledgeable on the history and facts around the Donghai Bridge And the harbour. I think this tour could have been very uninteresting and quite boring if I never had the right tour guide. Not forgetting her driver. He was amazing and all kudos to him ! The harbour is a must see and is normally not a place that visitors to Shanghai would think of visiting I would imagine but if you want to experience one of the efficiency and logistical wonders of China then this is a worthwhile tour. Can recommend.
