Perfect two private tour days In Shanghai and Suzhou - We had two full tour days with Troy. Day one in Suzhou/Tongli, and the next in Shanghai. Troy was exceptionally knowledgeable about the sites, art, cultural symbolism, religion, and history. We were able to customize our itinerary on the fly to spend more time in places we found interesting. We went at our own pace and the van was always close by so we never had to wait. Any question we had Troy had an answer to. His breadth of knowledge was astounding and the team at Jenny's was a joy to coordinate with. I can't recommend enough!

Perfect everything worked out as discussed before. From pick-up at the ship to the end of the tour. - Cathy was incredibly friendly and did a great job. She responded to our wishes and explained everything in detail. Thank you for the great experience. We would always opt for Jenny's tour.

A wonderful day in Shanghai - We can only warmly recommend Jenny Shanghaitours. Our booked day tour with our guide Peggy was perfectly organized. The tour started and ended at the International Cruise Terminal at our special request.
We had a wonderful day in Shanghai, which we will always remember very well. Our expectations were exceeded. The 5 stars are more than deserved. We have no criticism.

Nora (guide) is absolutely amazing! - I wanted to share my experience exploring Shanghai with a private guide named Nora, because she honestly made the trip unforgettable. I’ve been on quite a few private tours around Asia—at least ten—but Nora really stood out from the rest.
She’s a local who studied history, so she had this amazing depth of knowledge about every place we went—the Bund, Teepee Tower, Madang Road, Huangpu, Yu Garden, Suzhou’s Humble Administrator Garden, and the water towns of Zhujiajiao and Zhouzhuang. Every time I asked a question, no matter how random or specific, she had a thoughtful, detailed answer. It never felt like she was rattling off a script; she was just genuinely excited to share what she knew.
Beyond just knowing the facts, Nora had a great way of helping me connect with the culture and the city itself. She knew hidden little spots that I would’ve completely missed if I’d gone on my own. I also really appreciated her warmth and high emotional intelligence—she just seemed to know when I needed a break or when I wanted to learn more, and she was super patient the whole time.
If you’re heading to Shanghai, I absolutely recommend giving Nora a call. I’ve never had a guide who balanced deep knowledge, local insight, and genuine kindness quite like she did. I’m really glad I had her to show me around—it made the entire trip so much richer and more memorable. At the end, it felt really sad because it seemed like I had made a lifelong friend with the few days she had guided us in Shanghai

An outstanding experience! - "An outstanding experience! My parents were truly impressed by the professionalism and quality of the tour. The guide was incredibly thorough and helpful, providing great insights into the attractions and activities. He was always present and accommodating, ensuring they were comfortable and well taken care of throughout. Although my parents don’t speak English or Chinese, they managed to communicate easily using a phone translator, which made the experience even more enjoyable for them. A special thanks to Jenny and the team for their attention to detail and excellent service. I’ll definitely be keeping their contact for future tours!"
