A Journey Through Time at People’s Square

As I stepped out of the airport and into the bustling heart of Shanghai, I was immediately enveloped by the vibrant energy of People’s Square. This central hub, once a renowned horse racetrack, now stands as a testament to Shanghai’s dynamic evolution. The juxtaposition of the modern Municipal Government Mansion with the historical remnants of the racetrack offers a unique glimpse into the city’s past and present.

The Shanghai Museum, located within People’s Square, was a highlight of my visit.
