Scenic hidden gem outside of Shanghai city center - My tour guide, Bill, provided an excellent background and history of Zhujiajiao Water Town. His proficiency in English, punctuality, and patience in answering my numerous questions were greatly appreciated. It was a delightful half-day escape from the bustle of Shanghai, exploring the quaint and traditional aspects of ancient Chinese culture.

A great day out at Zhujiajiao Water Town - Bill was very friendly and knowledgable. He paced the tour to suit me and I enjoyed chatting about life in modern day China as well as the history of the water village. The private house/garden was a highlight for me - fascinating and serene. I would recommend this tour as a great day out from Shanghai and a chance to see a place worlds apart from the Bund and the fancy shops and restaurants. Excellent location and guide

Very nice day - Bill is an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about Zhujiajiao Water Town and Shanghai in general. He speaks fluent English and I really enjoyed his company on the trip. I told him I was going to the French Concession later and he gave me tips on what to see!

Step Back in Time with Bill - Highly Recommend - Wonderful tour! We were a small group visiting Shanghai for the second time from the U.S. on business. Bill was an excellent tour guide - great communication, very knowledgeable, and adapting to the needs of your group. Zhujiajiao was beautiful - such a unique experience and a nice way to spend a morning away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. We would definitely come back and visit again. Highly recommend all around.
