Amazing Day - We took the 7.5 hr tour which was not too long at all. The staff was knowledgable, friendly, and caring. The captain went off the map to find us some Orcas. The information over the loud speaker was perfect. We saw whales, eagles, glaciers calving, stellar sea lions, harbor seals. The boat is set up well so that everyone has a set seat inside where they can leave their stuff, but also can see out the huge windows. There are just as many seats out in the open which makes it easy to move around and see all the sights. The lunch was basic but well organized and easy. Other food was available for a fee. The staff was able to pull some ice-berg ice out of the water and make impressive alcohol drinks. We were lucky with a clear sky , but still would have gone with nasty weather.

Beyond expectations - The crew was professional, friendly, very knowledgeable, patient, flexible and good humored. The company runs like a fine machine, with great viewing places inside and out. We went off course to see Orcas playing in nearby waters, but didn’t miss any other promised sights and still got back to shore at exact ETA. As promised, we saw whales, puffins, sea otters, calving glaciers, and eagles. It was a glorious 7.5 hours.

Good day cruise - This day cruise was good but the wildlife was a little disappointing. We saw a couple sea lions and sea otters. However, the boat got pretty close to several glaciers and those were nice to see up close. The assigned seating was actually quite nice (we may have been lucky and got a cute elderly man and grandson at our table). The boat was comfortable and lunch was good. The crew was friendly and it looked like they did a good job taking care of a sea-sick passenger. It was quite chilly at the end of August, bring lots of warm clothes. I'm thinking we probably would have been just as happy if we had done the half day cruise instead of the full day.

depend on weather - it's sort of risky to book in advance because of the uncertainty of weather. i get a rainy day and that was good for viewing the glacier but not good in visibility on the ocean. too cloudy to see sceneries. and before boarding we had to wait in the rain
