Easy to book whale watching tour. - This was by far the best whale watching tour we have ever been on. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient crew. We saw a lot of killer and hump back whales, some otters and a beautiful eagle perched on a piling. The captain was knowledgeable about the park itself and the glaciers. We were served a nice lunch and warm cookies at the end of the trip. Overall it was a wonderful trip, and I would highly recommend it rain or shine.

Kenai Fjords boating trips - We took 2 boating trips and these are weather dependent for scenery and purely luck for animal sightings. Having said that, the boats are comfortable, food is quite adequate, and mostly too many sightings to take it all in. The captains have interesting tidbits and facts along the way. Preferred the National Park 6 hour tour over the Resurrection Bay /Fox Island tour but both had their positives.

Great sea creatures, scenery and narrative from the captain! - Great sunny day and low wave activity for our trip out on the Bay! Captain was quick to point out orcas, humpback, Dahl dolphins, sea otters lounging on their backs, puffins, mountain goat, 2 types of seals, glacier activity, and general points of beauty! Enjoyed our window seat while traveling around with captain alerts when approaching. Lunch was delicious and satisfying with a huge chicken burrito and tortilla chips. My partner had the GF version in a boxed salad. Bought a delicious cocktail with chunks of fresh glacier ice and I got to enjoy the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies that took over the smell of seasick travelers! Be sure to suggest Dramamine the night before and morning of trip for an enjoyable experience! A must do in Seward!

Rough Raw Alaskan Weather and Seas, Beautiful Glacier - So we arrived Seward 8:30 AM after disembarking from our cruise on Regent bags in tow. The tour did not leave until 11;30 AM so lots of time to kill. The tour van picked us up at 8:45 AM and took us to the office for checkin. We had planned to lug our bags the 2 blocks to the train station (we departed on the 6 PM Alaska Rail to Anchorage right after the tour) at 10:30 AM when the rail station was to open. Upon checkin the agent told us they would be happy to check our bags into the rail station for us at and that we need not worry about getting the luggage there on our own. That was amazing! Incredible service. And later the bags were on the train as promised. The tour boat is big and holds lots of people. Our tour was about half full so quite pleasant as not overcrowded. The seats were comfortable and there were lots of different view points to choose from both upstairs and on the main level. We took the excursion to the Aialik Glacier. Bear in mind this is a long ride. The tour is 6 hours and distances are far. The weather on our day was pretty raw. Cold, windy, and rainy. The sea was also very rough. The captain was terrific with his commentary throughout the tour as well as his skilled navigation of the boat protecting us from the heavy seas as much as possible. With that said we definitely got bounced around a good bit. We were fine but there were some on the boat who were deathly sick for the entire ride. If you are prone to seasickness I recommend you treat yourself BEFORE boarding otherwise maybe skip this one. My wife had the patch on and did well. The views were amazing and the glacier exceeded all expectations. We got within a couple hundred yards of the face traversing floating ice and icebergs to get there. By the way other tour operator, Majore, never made to the glacier that day and from what a passenger told me the ride was a misery as there was little effort to protect the passengers from the rough seas.We spent a good amount of time at the glacier and got to see some "calving" albeit small, but still very cool. They serve a hot burrito and drink fro lunch and warm chocolate chip cookies as a late snack. Both were quite good. We really enjoyed this tour and are happy we went. Would definitely recommend this excursion but not for those prone to seasickness. If like us you are planning to make the 6 PM train out of town after the 11:30 AM tour let me tell you what my experience was. I called the tour when I booked months in advance to inquire as to whether I should be concerned about making the train after the tour given the 30 minute window. I was told not to worry no problem. The train would wait for passengers from the boat. Well we had a couple of unanticipated issues on board. First high seas slowed us down. Then, during the tour the coast guard contacted our captain as a small boat had gone over in our area and asked if we could help with the search. We did that for about 20 - 30 minutes with no luck and then moved on. Unfortunately the boat was found 2 days later with all 4 passengers lost. On the way back we were already a bit behind schedule but then spent about 15 minutes stopped to look at Dahl sheep high up on a hill. A such, we pulled into dock at about 5:40 PM. We positioned ourselves at the door to exit first and then ran to the train boarding at 5:51 PM with the train rolling out at 6:01 PM. So we DID make the train but just barely. We opted not to take their shuttle as this would likely have taken much longer and the distance was short. Not sure if anyone else on the boat was scheduled for the train but if so it would have been extremely close for them. If you have mobility issues and need to make the train then I might reconsider taking this trip as I do not think the train would wait. It'll worked out and we were very happy with our experience.

Great sightings of all the marine mammals and even mountain goats. - It was a great add on to a fishing trip, to view the sea mammals up close on a guided tour. The staff were great, a nice lunch and the boat was in excellent shape.
