Great - We had a great day hiking the Harding Ice Field Trail with Nathan. Although conditions were less than ideal, the opportunity to experience Alaska in a natural way with his encouragement was a great experience for our family. The views were amazing as promised and we learned so much. Normally we hike alone as a family but in this situation, having the transfers from port to hike to hotel included made this the best choice for us. It was also a bonus to have someone else carry the bear spray and bring lunch. We would definitely choose another adventure like this one in the future and would be happy for Nathan to be our guide/driver!

Spectacular Harding Icefield View - The best part of the hike were the views once we reached the summit. Amazing, breathtaking views. The hike is strenuous and hard for sure but it was all worth it at the end. Kudos to out guide Roger who was exceptional. Loved his enthusiasm and willingness to share his knowledge about the glacier. He was very accommodating and was kind enough to capture some of our amazing moments up there. Also we got to taste some native berries along the way up. Thanks for that Roger !!

Breaktaking views on a strenuous hike. - Amazing views! The hike was absolutely breathtaking. However, you need to come prepared for the trip! 1. Mosquitoes are every… so big spray is a must. However, the mosquitoes are not as aggressive as those in mainland states. 2. Layers are important. You will be hot and cold throughout the trip and it helps to be able to add or drop clothing along the way. 3. Hike boots are a must. You will be going through a lot of snow which can be doggy in normal shoes. 4. You must be in good physical shape!!! This is a 9-mile hike round trip. You go from a 500ft elevation to 3000 foot elevation. There are a lot of switchback, rocks, and snow to contend with. It pushed me beyond my limits. The reward? Absolutely breathtaking views and scenery. I HIGHLY recommend this tour.

Breathtaking and Spectacular -- Must see! - One of the many highlights of my dream Alaska vacation. I had originally intended on doing a guided tour, but with a little urging from the locals and others in the Seward area, I decided to go it alone. Decided to forego the rather expensive can of bearspray which costs between $39 - $49. (probably foolishly -- lol). I would advise to take 6 standard water bottles per person, MAX. I took 11 for myself, as I hiked alone, but found that no matter how much I drank along the way, forced, I still had way too many once I got to the top. HEAVY! 6 should be find, per person. Coming down is easier, naturally, but you'll feel the difference in your upper thighs afterwards. Overall, the pay off is well worth it as you get closer to the top and snow begins to show up. That's when you know you're almost there. Wait for it, wait for it...keep moving! Once on the top however, looking down on Exit Glacier and all the people below who are trekking across it, it just blows your mind. Be careful, although there is plenty open seating in which to rest and take a load off while enjoying the scenery, you can't get too close to the drop off/edge. Or, you're a goner. Took me about 1.5 hours to get to the top with plenty of stops along the way to snap some photos and about 35 minutes to get back to the park entrance. Shuttles from various outlets in town (Seward) will get you to the Park for about $15 dollars round trip. Enjoy!

An Unforgettable Day - My friend was in town and we had made plans to stay in Seward a couple days and decided this sounded like the perfect activity for us—we were not wrong!!! We ended being the only 2 on the hike and Isaac was so encouraging and patient with us (as I am not as experienced of a hiker)! We were able to get a pretty decent amount of the way up the trail even with the snow cover and took in some GORGEOUS views! Isaac knew so much about the nature and the area and was also just a lot of fun to talk to! We had a blast sliding back down the mountain in the snow and this day was definitely a highlight of our trip!!! Thank you for a fabulous day, Isaac and Kenai Backcountry!!!
