Brilliant tour with Seward Helicopter Tours - This was a lovely experience, just 3 of us and the pilot on the flight to the dog sledding. The musher was really friendly and we had all our questions answered. She was able to tell us about her experience and about the dogs individual personalities. We were allowed to cuddle the dogs (that wanted affection) whilst they preppared for the ride. The weather was terrible but the views were still spectacular and due to the cold we were able to pick up a little more speed. We were given time to take some lovely photos. We have gone dog sledding in Finland but this tour was far superior and personalised. Fantastic, well organised tour. Would certainly recommend, especially with children.

Great experience! - Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Yes - it's expensive but it's likely the best/most memorable thing you'll do as part of your Alaska trip!

Great experience! - Wonderful experience for our whole family. The helicopter ride was very scenic and smooth. The kids enjoyed dog sledding and playing with the puppies ( although some puppies were quite rambunctious :).) there wasn’t any real walking/ touring of the glacier, we mainly spent time with the dogs, but we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Mush! (They don't really say that :) ) - At 3:00pm we were picked up by Seward Helicopter tours for our dog sled adventure. It was a short ride to their site. We took a small helicopter for about 15 minutes to a dog camp on a glacier. Our guide/musher (Ryan?) was terrific. These mushers live in the camp with the dogs. The dogs are training for Iditarod. We got to ride a sled pulled by a team of dogs. It was more fun then I anticipated. Then we took the helicopter back. Short activity but very fun.

Incredible from start to finish! - We went on a bright sunny day in June 2023. The helicopter rides there and back were breathtaking. But for dog lovers, the sledding experience was absolutely magical and worth every penny. They take good care of their dogs, and it's clear the dogs love their work and their mushers. (Special shout out to our musher, Cameron.) The dogs are charming, friendly, and eager to run, and the puppies are pure delightful chaos. This is not a money-making tourist enterprise, this is a kennel devoted to the dogs and the sport, and sharing it with the world. We will never forget this adventure and it's among our all-time top travel experiences.

Short ride ALL the way around. - Not exactly what I was expecting, but seemed rushed and very SHORT experience. The majority of the time was spent talking with the guide (musher). The sledding was more of a sit and look (ride) with three people sitting the musher in the back. The views were amazing and the ride over was fun (also very short..maybe 8 min). For the cost, this is NOT worth the time and experience....there may be others that give you more of a "mushers" experience that last longer than maybe 15 min. The entire experience (ride over, ride on sled...not mushing...and ride back) was short and disappointing. It's all based on what you want out of the experience, we were looking for more than a brief ride on a sled and short helicopter ride, but if that's all you want, maybe it's for you.
