Highlights

Alameda de Hercules area is known for being the most alternative part of Seville and also the bohemian quarter. It is also known as the go-to spot for modern, alternative and non-touristy tapas spots. On this unforgettable 3-hour tour, a guide will show you the best tapas bars that only the locals know about. From the most traditional tapas to tapas with a modern twist, all the places will leave you asking for more. And of course it makes perfect sense to accompany all this tapas with a good glass of wine. The tour guide will help you to discover the aromas and flavors of wines that go well with this Andalusian cuisine.

First, you will meet in front of the Cinema Alameda. From here, you will explore the area and after a short introduction of the history of the district you will arrive at the first tapas spot. After this, you will meander through the streets and see a variety of different tapas places, from a loud and lively stand-up tavern to a tranquil, formal sit-down restaurant. You will finish the tour with a visit to one of the oldest markets in Seville.

At each of the four tapas bars, you will have a drink and a choice of one plate to share which means that if you are in a group with a few people, you will get to try a dozen different dishes. After this, you will return back to the meeting point.

Perfect relaxed tour! - Robert was a perfect match for us, as a tour guide! He spoke perfect English, which was great for us, to understand, since we are from the USA! He was a wealth of knowledge of Seville day-to-day culture, history, traditions, and hidden treasures.

Tapas tour Seville - I did the off the beaten path tapas tour near Alameda de Hercules. Abby was a great and fun guide, giving cultural and historical info as we went to different places. She showed me great new tapas dishes both traditional and modern that I would not have discovered otherwise

Triana tapas tour - The Triana tapas tour was so much fun. The selections of restaurants and also the food were excellent. Abby’s stories about the history of Seville and her own personal experiences made it feel as if we were walking around with a very knowledgeable and charming friend. Highly recommend!

A Very Enjoyable Evening - Abby was our guide for this very private and enjoyable tour. My wife and I didn't know what to expect when we booked the tour, but we had an absolute blast. We spent the evening eating delicious food, having great drinks, and getting a great feel for the tapas scene in Seville. I wholeheartedly recommend!

Past and Present Seville - We very much enjoyed Abby’s friendly and informative tour. Very refreshing. We visited the poorer areas which are now experiencing greater prosperity and Abby explained the message behind some of the graffiti. Even took us to a local cafe!!

Fabulous evening! - Nico was our guide for this tour (and also Seville from the Rooftops). He was very knowledgeable about Seville and passionate about the city. We met in an out of the way part of the city that we probably wouldn't have visited without a guide. He told us about the surrounding areas and the history, and ordered us a selection of tasty tapas in various bodegas to enjoy while we chatted. It was a great way to find out what we liked so we could order more knowledgeably on our own. Nico is a flamenco dancer so he also told us a lot about flamenco which was also really interesting. Such a great way to spend an evening - I would highly recommend.

Fantastic guide! - Abby was an amazing tour guide, when we arrived at some restaurants that were less than friendly she maintained her professionalism and smoothed things out so that our family still left feeling like we had the best experience. Abby left us with great recommendations of things outside of our tour for our remaining time. She was wonderful with all the age groups in our party with kids between 5 and 19 as well as the adults. We would recommend her as a guide and search her out for any return trips to Seville.

Amazing! - Abby went above and beyond on the tapas tour! We learned lots and had a very enjoyable time :) She is very passionate about what she does, which was reflected in the experience! We will definitely consider future tour options from Not Just A Tourist. Can’t wait to be back to Seville already!
