Beautiful Triana through the eyes of a local! - I was visiting Seville for just a few days and was told by friends who had been before to make time to explore the historic neighbourhood that was Triana. But without knowing much other than a few recommended bars, I decided to give Devour Tours Triana tapas crawl, and boy did I not regret it! Our guide, Penelope, was passionate, informative and incredibly attentive throughout, and made sure all our needs were met. Though only 3.5 hours, it felt like more, and our group clicked so well that some of us decided to go for another drink once done! I came out of this tour knowing more about Triana, what makes it a special neighbourhood to its locals, and tried a simple, yet fun variety of food. Thank you Devour and Penelope for a wonderful evening!

Interesting tour, great guide, delicious food - Absolutely loved the tour. The food was excellent and the drinks too. I tried the best tapas I have had so far in Seville, everything was delicious and the guide was very knowledgeable and fun. I came back the next day because I wanted to eat the same again! The rest of the group was very nice and definitely would recommend

An afternoon to remember! - My previous experiences with Devour had always been satisfactory (professionalism and friendliness of the guides, quality-price, information received), but I did not know what I was going to find in the tour of Triana. All my doubts soon disappeared: the Triana tour turned out to be one of my favorites of all time. It is a neighborhood that still remains very authentic (unlike other parts of Seville), and Penelope (our guide, a real top) knew how to show us why. The food was delicious and I left very satiated. It is a pleasure to finish the tour and see the same smile of satisfaction on the other customers' faces!

A must for day 1 or 2 of your arrival. A MUST DO. - We had an amazing time learning, drinking and eating with Elena our excellent guide in Seville! She helped us understand the culture of the city and its ver'y laid back and and it's fashionable vibe. We are from Los Angeles and I know Elena will remember me from my torn white t shirt ( the tears of the shirt were on purpose lol !) I have never done a walking tour in my life till then and was not sure what to expect. We we experienced was 100% fun. Not only was the food selection top notch, it was even customized for me (I don't eat seafood). I thought , maybe I would be left to eat just crackers and cheese but no, I tasted fantastic pork and potato tapas and more! After the tour I knew my way around the city. Take this tour on day 1 or 2 of your arrival. You will know where the cool neighborhoods are after this tour. Seville is truly foodie heaven and with Elena's guidance I was able to better grasp my Spanish roots. She talked history, culture, flamenco, sherry and just had a great sense of humor. I look forward to talking more tours with Elena on our next trip back!

Maria is the perfect host and guide - Triana isn't part of Seville that a first time visitor would typically go to, so this tour was fun, informative and delicious. Teetotal and veggie members of our group of 8 were well looked after too. Big thanks to Maria.

Wonderful tapas tour - Really wonderful tour with Megan! We visited several amazing tapas bars that I would not have found on my own. Plenty of food and drinks, we were stuffed by the end. Megan was very knowledgeable about Triana and the various tapas bars and was a very fun guide. Highly recommended.

OK but not cheap - We were recommended this trip, which lasted about 2 hours. Our guide Meghan was very friendly and informative but the tour didn’t quite work somehow. We met as planned and went to a nice old tapas place that we revisited afterwards. A selection of Spanish meats (very good) and a strange bread with soup/cheese (not so tasty or popular) but traditional. 2nd stop was like a UK fish and chip shop. We had 2 or 3 small prawns each and I do mean small. We also had salt cod which was widely agreed to be inedible. Way to salty to taste the fish. No one enjoyed it or liked it. Apart from the taste it ruined the taste of the next stop a bit 3rd stop (Las Golondrinas) served fantastic pork escalope on bread. Fantastic. Accompanied by a plate of ‘sweet pickled’ carrots. Again we returned here the next day. 4th and final stop was a course of pig cheeks and one of spinach. We had a beer or a glass of wine in each place. Price £67 each. Price doing it yourself (missing salt cod and pickled carrots) about £30. We’ve been on other food tours and this one missed the mark in quality and price.
