• ATM Cave Belize- Actun Tunichil Muknal - Begin your day with a scenic drive through Belize’s picturesque countryside to the Village of Teakettle, located approximately two hours from Placencia.

From there, the journey continues into the Tapir Mountain Nature Reserve, passing through mahogany groves and orchards. Upon reaching the trailhead, embark on a 45-minute hike through the lush jungle to reach the caves.

Once there, gear up for an exciting three-hour adventure of hiking, swimming, and exploring this sacred cave formation.

This tour is rated as moderate to hard in intensity. Participants should be able to:

• Walk comfortably on both flat and uneven surfaces.
• Cross a river with moderately fast currents (using a rope for support).
• Navigate rocks and tight spaces within the cave.
  Please note that photography is not allowed inside the caves, and cameras are prohibited.

Upon reaching the hiking trail, journey through the verdant jungle for around 45 minutes until you reach the caverns. Prepare yourself with the necessary equipment before venturing into the caves, where the subsequent three hours will be spent hiking, swimming, and delving into the sacred cave structure with the guidance of your tour guide.
