Namsan Seoul Tower is Korea’s first tower-type tourist attraction. The tower’s peak reaches nearly 480 meters above sea level, combining the height of Namsan Mountain (243m) and the tower itself (236.7m), making it one of the tallest towers in the East. It includes Seoul Tower Plaza, which opened to the public after 40 years, and N Seoul Tower, managed by CJ Foodville since 2005. Initially built as a broadcast tower for TV and radio signals in 1969, it has now become a prominent landmark and cultural venue in Seoul.
- Kwangjang Market - Gwangjang Market, Korea’s first permanent market, remains a bustling tourist spot. The market’s second floor is renowned for its silk, satin, and linen bed-sheet stores, the largest and most famous in Seoul.
Many stores in the area have their own factories supplying fabrics to Namdaemun Market, Pyoung Hwa Market, and some department stores. Although the products are not branded, the extensive selection of high-quality goods at affordable prices makes shopping here a delightful experience.

Naksan Park - Naksan Park is named for its camel hump-like shape, with ‘nakta’ meaning camel and ‘san’ meaning mountain in Korean. Thus, it is called Nakta Park or Naksan Park. The mountain is a solid granite bedrock. The Joseon royal family admired the natural beauty of the granite mountain, but during the Japanese Colonial Period, much of it was demolished due to rapid urban planning. To preserve the remaining green areas, Naksan was designated as a park on June 10, 2002. Situated in central Seoul, this historic and beautiful park offers visitors a panoramic view of the city.

Cheonggyecheon Stream - Cheonggyecheon Stream begins at Cheonggye Plaza, just off Sejong-ro Avenue. Cheonggye Plaza spans approximately 2,500 square meters and marks the starting point of Cheonggyecheon Stream. The square, inspired by traditional Korean bojagi (a colorful wrapping cloth), showcases the refined beauty of traditional stonework. It also features a model of Cheonggyecheon, providing visitors with an aerial view of the restored stream. The plaza includes plaques with detailed information on the 22 bridges crossing the stream and several elegant fountains enhancing the area’s atmosphere. This area celebrates the Cheonggyecheon Stream Restoration Project and symbolizes gathering, harmony, peace, and unity.
