This place is popular to tourists its own natural beauty and light festival during winter as well as other seasons.

Embark on a 14-hour journey exploring the incredibly stunning Mount Seorak, the poetic Nami Island, and the striking Garden of Morning Calm, guided by a local expert.
Mount Seorak is recognized as a Natural Monument preservation site which was later designated as a park preservation area in December 1973. By August 1982, it came under the Biosphere Preservation District by UNESCO. The captivating views of unique rock formations and waterfalls in Seorak are absolutely unforgettable.
Known for its enchanting ambience, Nami Island is a notable site of the Winter Sonata filming. The island offers beautiful walking paths encased by metasequoia, ginko trees, and cherry trees, and boasts of artistic elements at every turn.
The Garden of Morning Calm is appreciated by tourists for its inherent natural beauty and oriental charm. Famous for its abundant floral and tree life across all seasons, its winter light festival draws special attention.

Great tour and a wonderful Tour Guide!! Thank you Ki!! - I cannot recommend our tour guide Ki highly enough! Ki truly went above and beyond during our tour. Not only did he provide an informative and engaging experience, but he also displayed exceptional kindness and customer service. When my wife lost her phone, Ki took it upon himself to contact the person who found it and personally drove to their house to retrieve it, ensuring its safe return to us. His dedication and exemplary effort did not go unnoticed. Ki is not just a wonderful tour guide, but also a genuinely caring and thoughtful individual. Thank you, Ki, for making our tour unforgettable!

Must Do! - Mt Seorak was incredible! We hiked through fresh snow & saw magnificent views of mountain ranges. The gardens at night were so pretty & the market food was the right way to finish the day. Jake our guide was THE BEST! He was friendly, fun & made the trip a wonderful memory which I will cherish forever. Thanks matey Jakey Boy!!

Mt. Seorak was amazing we... - Mt. Seorak was amazing we had a great time there. Anyone visiting Korea should try and get to see this national park. Our host Ki was fantastic and a pleasure to spend the day with.

There’s more to S.Korea that everyone visiting should see!! - Visiting sights outside of Seoul was fascinating. Mt. Seorak, Nami Island, and Garden was breathtaking. I would highly recommend, if anyone wants to see S. Korea’s wonderful geography.
Kee, our tour guide provided the right amount of context and humor (he’s funny) to the trip. He was also filled with great resources and accommodating to all the guests. I highly appreciated the early start time, after seeing the traffic into Mt. Seorak.
Will be visiting with the whole family soon and planning on booking the trip again.

Nice Trip! - It was nice. Nami Island was a bit strange as there were goblins and images of rabbits tied up to trees. But the tree-lined walkway was truly beautiful.

Great outdoor experience - The best part of the tour was My. Seorak , with its majestic mountains covered with snow. Changmin Ki was an awesome tour guide , kept us informed all the time and gave us the best suggestions for the activities so we can have a memorable experience.

Don't book it - Mt Seorak was great and probably only thing worth on this tour.
Nami island and Garden of the morning calm are a tourist trap. What made it worse is that there was nothing to do during March at both those places. They should just exclude those 2 in the winter time. It might be better to visit those 2 places during the summer but still tourist traps.
The bus we were on was old and the driver was not considerate about the people in the back. He would just speed through the bumps. Overall, not a good experience in this tour. I would not reccomend.

Disappointed - This tour has 3 parts - in my view only Mt. Seorak worth to visit, the rest is not interesting at all. The guy (your guide) was very nice and tried to please everyone but he is not a professional tour guide. I have an impression that Viator does not take seriously the professional quality of the tour guides. Limited language is one of the characteristics of people they employ. In most cases - they are just drivers.
