Highly recommended! - The tour was well organized and Grace was an excellent guide for the day. We don't usually take tours, and opt for doing things on our own but obviously for the DMZ, a tour is a must. Grace wasn't just a great guide but also a voluntary photographer, and thanks to her we have some great pics. Highly recommended!

Fun and Packed Tour! - Our tour guide was Grace, and she was amazing! On the way from Seoul we got a quick history lesson, she was very good at explaining the general conflict and the history of each of the places we visited. Previous history knowledge was not necessary as Grace was able to give a great introduction. We took the 10 am start tour without the suspension bridge option, which was plenty of things to do! We were all pretty tired on the way back to Seoul. I really loved taking the tour! I was able to see a lot more than I would have going alone.

Great tour - Grace our tour guide was fantastic! The tour was very informative. Seeing the situation in real life makes the difference compared to what one just see on tv or read in newspapers.

Great tour, Horrible tour guide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - I joined DMZ tour on March 2024. It was my second time visiting DMZ. Last time I attended was on August 2023 with my family. Apparently my first and second time in Korea were both very busy season for DMZ tour; because of the 50 buses entering policy we had to change the pick up time to 6:30 AM. Thanks to the travel agency, we were able to go ealier than the others and spent about 3 hours in the first destinatioon relaxing and exploring by our selves which I couldn't do on the first time visiting. The tour itself is great. Itinerary Perfect. Communication with the travel agency Wonderful. That's why I specially looked for this agency when I came back because on first tour I had an amazing experience with great tour guide explaining so many interesting facts and history lesson was impeccable. I decided to bring my boyfriend along and we were really looking forward to go. But I met Julie. Where do I start. She shouldn't call herself a tour guide because she is just a salesman. Her narration about the Korean war and history is basic, poor English (Please use past tense when you are talking about the history that happened 70 years ago) She took us every where she can make profit out of tourists. (Gondola, North Korean Currency, DMZ Wire fence, GINSENG) During the first stop, When all the other tour guides are sharing in depth knowledge to the tourists, She talked about NK currency for 20 minutes and dragged us all into small shop. So from the second stop we decided to follow other tour guides and listen to their info, and she didn't even noticed that we were missing and yelled at us to come back to the bus. RUDE. When we were walking out from the third tunnel, we saw other tour guides welcoming their tourists giving them High-Fives, JULIE was no where to be found in fact she was talking on the phone and resting by herself. When other tour guides are taking pictures for their group, we had to beg them to take pictures for us because my tour guide was resting. On the observatory she started to talk about Ginseng, which non of the other tour guides did and never happended to me on the first tour. After 3 minutes of explaining of course she sat down again at coffee shop and started to rest again. We were glad that all the other tour guides that we met, they were very generous and answered all the questions and took pictures for us. Finally we went to the ginseng outlet aka Local market. The only time Julie stood up explained with desire. She told us more about ginseng than every other things. turned on her microphone loud (in a small shop) and started to repeat saying "PREMIUM GINSENG EXTRACT, SOY BEAN CHOCOLATE" FOR DAMN 20 MINUTES. During my first tour, I didn't even realized they had ginseng products in the shop, and I had learned so much things but second time was just waste of time and money. Please don't delete my review again. Because I am going to write this repeatly. and Oh dear Julie, Please get a job in the department store and don't ruin other tourists DMZ tour. Thank you.
