- Jeondong Catholic Church - Jeondong Catholic Cathedral in Jeonju was constructed to honor Roman Catholic martyrs from the Joseon dynasty at the very location where they were martyred. French Priest Baudenet acquired the land in 1891 (the 28th year of King Gojong), but the church’s construction began in 1908 and concluded in 1914, during the Japanese occupation of Korea. Initially built near Pungnammun Gate, the church was later relocated to its current site for expansion.
- Jeonju Arboretum - The Korea Expressway Corporation Arboretum, situated in Jeonju and managed by the Korea Expressway Corporation, was established to mitigate the environmental impact of expressway construction. The arboretum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing a diverse array of beautiful flora from across Korea.
- Damyang Juknokwon - Juknokwon in Damyang is a bamboo forest nurtured by the town of Damyang. Covering approximately 160,000 ㎡, it was established in May 2003. The rock steps and gentle breeze through the bamboo trees offer a soothing escape from daily stress. Enjoying bamboo leaf tea is a delightful way to conclude a visit.
- Gyeonggijeon - Gyeonggijeon Shrine, a registered Historic Site, was built in 1410 and houses the portrait of King Tae-jo, the founder of the Joseon dynasty. Originally named Eoyongjeon, it was renamed in 1442, during the 24th year of King Sejong the Great. Although partially destroyed during the Imjin War (1592-1598), it was restored in 1614.
- Omokdae and Imokdae - Omokdae is perched atop a steep hill and is one of the locations where Yi Seong-gye (later King Taejo, the first king of the Joseon Dynasty) paused to celebrate his victory after a battle with Japanese invaders at Hwangsan Mt, Unbong, at the end of the Goryeo Era.
- Damyang Metasequoia Road - Damyang Metasequoia-lined Road is renowned as one of Korea’s most picturesque paths. The Ministry of Internal Affairs planted Metasequoia trees along the road in the early 1970s after the reconstruction of National Road 24. Initially, the saplings were just 3 to 4 years old with sparse branches reaching skyward; now, the trees have grown so tall they seem to obscure the sun.
