• Oedolgae - Departing from Seogwipo-si
  외돌개 (Oedolgae)
  Oedolgae marks the beginning of Jeju Olle Trail Course 7 and is a striking stone pillar rising 20 meters from the sea. Its solitary stance in the ocean earned it the name ‘Oedolgae’. Also known as ‘General Stone’ and ‘Grandma Rock’, legend has it that General Choi Yeong adorned this rock to resemble a general during battles against the Yuan Dynasty, causing the enemy to self-destruct. For the story behind ‘Grandma Rock’, refer to the legend below. Beyond the visible rocks, one can also witness the life of Jeju’s sea people.
  These stone pillars are believed to have formed during a volcanic eruption. Scientifically termed a sea stack, this chimney-shaped stone pillar remains as surrounding rocks erode due to waves. Pine trees naturally grow atop Oedolgae, creating a picturesque scene.
• Cheonjiyeon Falls - 천지연폭포 (Cheonjiyeon Falls)
  At Cheonjiyeon Falls, white water cascades from the rock cliff, producing a thunderous sound. Its name signifies “sky connected with land.” Standing 22 meters high and 12 meters wide, the view and sound of the falling waters are awe-inspiring. The valley near Cheonjiyeon Falls hosts not only Elaeocarpus, a Natural Monument 163, but also various temperate plants like brambles, Psilotum nudum (L.) Griseb., Siebold’s chinquapin, Shiny xylosma, and camellias. It is also renowned for the Natural Habitat for Giant Mottled Eels (Natural Monument 27), which are nocturnal.
• Jeongbang Waterfall - Departing from Seogwipo-si
  정방폭포 (Jeongbang Falls)
  Jeongbang Falls ranks among Jejudo Island’s top three waterfalls, alongside Cheonjiyeon Falls and Cheonjeyeon Falls. It is Korea’s only waterfall where water plunges directly into the sea. The fall is 23 meters high, and its two streams create a thrilling sound and stunning view as they descend the black cliff. The steep cliffs and ancient pine trees surrounding the fall add to its picturesque beauty, earning it a spot among the Ten Scenic Sights of Yeongju as “Jeongbanghapok.” Legend has it that the words ‘Seobulgwacha’ are inscribed on Jeongbang Falls’ cliffs. According to lore, a man named Seobul visited the island seeking an elixir plant on orders from China’s Qin Shu Huangdi. Failing to find the plant, he headed west to return to China but was captivated by Jeongbang Falls, leading him to inscribe “Seobulgwacha” on the cliff.
• Seongsan Ilchulbong - 성산일출봉 (Seongsan Ilchulbong)
  Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone, a prominent Jeju landmark, formed around 5,000 years ago from an underwater magma eruption. It is particularly famous as a sunrise viewing spot, considered one of Jeju Island’s top ten scenic wonders. Besides sunrise viewing, Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone is also a popular trekking destination. The Seongsan-Ojo Trail connects two villages by crossing the peak, while the Jijil Trail offers a closer look at the UNESCO-designated geopark and Jeju’s local culture. Walking these paths is recommended to fully experience the area; reaching the summit provides views of both the vast volcanic crater and the surrounding blue ocean. To complete the visit, head to Seongsanpo Port to watch haenyeo (female divers) at work.
• Manjanggul Cave - Departing from JEJU-SI
  만장굴 (Manjanggul Lava Tube)
  Among Jeju’s oreum, Geomunoreum is the only parasitic cone designated as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. It contains over 20 caves, but only Manjanggul Lava Tube is open to the public. With its mysterious and grand appearance, entering the cave feels like stepping into Hades’ underworld. Following the tunnel of intricate lava rock formations leads to a giant rock pillar marking the cave’s end. The cave’s temperature remains between 11-21℃ year-round, allowing visitors to enjoy its magnificence in any season. If Manjanggul Cave is closed (on the first Wednesday of every month), the Jeju Haenyeo Museum serves as an alternative tour.
• Woljeongri Beach - 월정리 해변 (Woljeong-ri Beach)
  Renowned for its stunning scenery, white sand, and emerald waters, Jeju Woljeong-ri Beach features a road lined with tea houses and coffee shops. It is an excellent stopover during a Jeju Island trip and one of the few places to enjoy an exotic view.
• Hamdeok Beach - Departing from JEJU-SI
  Walking along Jeju Olle Course 19 leads to Hamdeok Beach, known for its emerald jewel. Located in Hamdeok-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, it is also called ‘Hamdeok Seoubong Beach’ due to Oreum (Seoubong Peak) adjacent to the beach. Just 20 km from Jeju Airport, arriving here feels like entering another country. Tall palm trees greet visitors at the entrance, and the emerald sea contrasts beautifully with the white sand. The clear water and white waves make even the sand and seaweed appear transparent. Among Jeju Island’s many beaches, Hyeopjae Beach, Gimnyeong Beach, and Hamdeok Beach are noted for their stunning sea colors. The clear, shallow waters make it a great summer spot for families. The beach’s west side is connected by an overpass, offering the experience of walking on the sea.
• Seopjikoji - Departing from JEJU-SI
  섭지코지 (Seopjikoji)
  A short drive from Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak leads to Cape Seopjikoji. The name, from the Jeju dialect, means “Cape of Small Land” due to its unique cliff formation jutting into the ocean. The harmonious blend of hill and ocean attracts tourists year-round. Visitors might spot Jeju ponies grazing on the grassy fields. Walking northeast along the cliff leads to Bulgeunoreum Parasitic Cone, offering a stunning view of a white lighthouse against the dark blue sea. Notable attractions at Cape Seopjikoji include the Glasshouse and Yumin Art Gallery, designed by renowned architect Ando Tadao. These buildings blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings.
• Seongeup Folk Village - Departing from JEJU-SI
  성읍민속마을 (Seongeup Folk Village)
  The entire village, preserving the lifestyle of old Jeju, is designated as an Important Folklore Cultural Heritage. Unlike typical folk villages, it remains inhabited. Village residents volunteer as guides, providing visitors with various information. The Saw-leaf Zelkova and Japanese hackberry in the village center are worth seeing.
• O’sulloc Tea Museum - Departing from Seogwipo-si
  Osulloc Tea Museum, adjacent to the Seogwang tea field in Jeju, is Korea’s first tea museum, opened in 2001 by AMOREPACIFIC to promote tea and Korean traditional tea culture. It is a cultural space harmonizing East and West, tradition and modernity, featuring a tea museum, a nature-friendly rest area, and a cafe offering delicious and diverse tea-based menus.
