Informative. - Good to learn the history of this place. The tour was good. It’s really too bad there is not more to do in Selma.

Just excellent - Just excellent. Production quality is superb and the content is really deep. I learned a lot. This tour added a lot of depth to my visit to Selma. Tip: Don’t be like me and skip the “how to use the app” video. App has really nice features otherwise you’s miss.

Very good tour of a significant site in civil war and civil rights history - This was day 2 of a weekend spent at significant civil rights sights in Alabama. Not too far from Montgomery, but a heck of a long way if you’re walking through a community that hates you. Selma’s downtown is pretty run down, and that is sad to see. But this walking tour was excellent and led me along the path where many civil rights leaders and martyrs have gone before. The information is excellent, and the fact that it works with your phone’s GPS to know exactly where you are is really nice. The narration even tells you which side of the street to walk down, when there are no sidewalks on one side. This one would be tough for folks who have mobility challenges, as there are some streets without consistent access. But that comes later in the tour, and the first part is definitely accessible and worth the minimal cost. I went on a Sunday, so the locations I might have entered were all closed. I was a bit iffy on whether I wanted to go to Selma in 100+ degree heat in August, but the Montgomery walking tour I did the previous day was excellent, so I decided to brave the weather to hear what they had to say about Selma. I’m very happy I did.

Easy to use and a good overview - This was a very good tour of Selma and is something to keep in mind if you're visiting on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday when many things are closed. The tape was clear and gave very accurate directions. We did lose our connection while walking over the bridge but it was easy to pick up again.

A walk in Selma - The walking (driving) narration was fine. Only about 4 blocks long if you include walking over the Edmond Petis Bridge. History of the hotel and train station was interesting. Having to download the separate App to play the recording and then entering the special Viator code was a pain. Cell phone signals were weak and slow in that area. My advice, wait for the National Parks Visitor Center remodeling to be finished and get a printed walking tour pamphlet for free, plus so much more. I will say being in Selma and walking in the footsteps of monumental Civil Rights Activitists was moving.
