First rafting experience and now I feel like doing another one!! - It was our first time rafting and even though we know Iceland quite well, we have been delighted by this new experience:) the safety instructions are clear and the staff made sure we all understood properly what to do and not to do. I get safe, which made me enjoy the ride even more :) the base and the facilities are clean and week equipped, the staff available and polite :) I'd definitely recommend it, even though it's Iceland and it can be cold (even during summer time)

Great day with the family - highly recomended - Had a great day with Anil and Pawin - both very professional and fun. They took us through the saftey checks and what to so beforehand and then we set off down the river. We did stop for the cliff jump and we all did it (after some hesitation - but Anil was good and reassuring). We then headed down the river and the guys kept us entertained by doing games and (safe) shenangigans on, and out (!) of the rafts. We ended the day in the hot tub to warm up. Highly recomended and thank you guys (BTW - enjoyed your urdu comedy banter :))

Just do it! - Highly recommend! After 9 days of touring Iceland, we were happy to have several hours devoted to just playing. Our family of 4 (two boys age 14 and 12) all had fun. Silja was an excellent guide. The rapids were just enough thrill, but not overwhelming. However, if you're looking for more thrill-- jump off the 18 foot cliff into the water! It is HIGH! There were other opportunities to jump off the raft into the water too. The base was a lot of fun; we loved the hot tub with a beer. The food was good in the restaurant too.

Wonderful experience! - This was one of the highlights of our visit to Iceland - if you remotely like white water rafting, don't miss this one! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our guide on the raft, Ricardo, was not only a great expert but also kept all of us entertained and happy during the trip. The route was varied and exciting - including the (optional) jump in the river from a rather high cliff... I still don't know how I managed to do that. We started in the Hvita river and ended in the Hot Tub at Drumbo base - what a way to spend a day on and in the water. If I ever visit Iceland again this will certainly be on my list once more.

So much fun! Highly recommend! - This was one of the most fun excursions I went on in Iceland. In the rafting I've done before, we tried not to get ejected from the boat - but in this one, you get super comfortable with being in the water (if you want to!) and the guides are just incredible at making the entire experience a fun time. We had Claus (Santa Claus) and I highly recommend getting into his boat. We played games, jumped off cliffs (optional!) swam in rapids and even flipped the boat - on purpose! (also optional!) The rapids weren't the craziest I've been in but they made the entire time amazing. Afterwards, you get to relax in the hot tubs and a really nice, big sauna at your leisure. I had a smile on my face the entire time. Definitely recommend this - very cool vibe all around.

Fun Tour but bad experience with one of the guides - We did the Fun River Rating Tour as a group of 5. We shared the boat with 4 other people and a guide. The tour itself was pretty fun. There are a few tricky parts on the river, but most of the time it’s pretty relaxed. You can jump in the water and let yourself float. At the end you can shower and use the hot tubs in the base. Everything was pretty clean and nice. However I had a bad experience with a guide (Anil or O’Neill, I’m not sure how to write his name). During the tour you have the chance to jump from a cliff. I wanted to try but got scared and panicked. He mocked me and insulted me in front of the whole group. Also at the end of the tour he made fun of me again. I’ve never met a guide with such a lack of empathy. So if you feel worried about the tour you might want to ask for another guide. The other guides seemed pretty fine. In general I did enjoy the tour, but think it’s quite pricey for what you get.
