- Strokkur - Strokkur is the little brother or the famous Geysir which not active anymore. Strokkur though is still very active blowing water up into the air every 7 to 10 minutes.
At this stop can you also purchase food.
- Thingvellir National Park - The Thingvellir are both historically and geologically a important location. Here was the first icelandic parliament founded in the late 900s and this is also the a visible division between the eurasian and the north american continental plates.
- Kerid Crater - Kerið is an iconic volcanic crater of 55 meters depth. Kerið is only included in the 10:30 am departures, not later departures.

Summer is here in Iceland! - What an amazing day out then we did bring sunny weather with us that day. Sunny our tour guide was great at explaining Icelandic history and its culture. Also super patient for waiting when we were late getting back to the bus. Highlights for me were Gulfoss and Strokkur Geyser definitely!
However, originally was booked for 10:30am tour but the tour operator changed it to 9am so we had to adjust our schedule at short notice.

Fabulous tour - The bus does not have USB charging ports so make sure your cell phone is at 100% because you will take many pictures on this fabulous tour.

If you have crampons,... - If you have crampons, bring them along. They were not suggested but would have been useful at the Geysir park.
The guide was helpful The time at each site could have been a few minutes longer. The whole trip was less than 7 hours.

A great day out in Iceland - Great excursion. Good value for money. Amazing sites and a very friendly and informative guide. Plenty of stops to have breaks, drinks and food.

Excellent trip - We booked at the end of January 2025 but the trip was cancelled after the first visit due to weather. Such a shame as it started off great. Would do the trip again.

The tour guide is super... - The tour guide is super friendly and coordinated well with the coach driver. Both of them and very accommodating. We had a great time travelling with them.

A great trip with the... - A great trip with the most perfect conditions. Heidi and Halli were a fantastic driver/MC duo and we had a great time. Unfortunately, there as we were picked up as one of the last guests, my wife and I had to sit separately despite asking many single passengers if they would swap. Please, if you are asked, consider a compromise at least as this has happened on more than one occasion and on a long trip day, this detracts from the experience when talking to yourself instead.

This was an awesome tour!... - This was an awesome tour! 10/10 recommend so you are not paying for gas and parking. As well as they provide amazing information about each location we even got a surprise stop and got to see Icelandic horses

Big up Mdawggg - We had high expectations for this trip, and these were exceeded!! Our guide Matt was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he was happy to answer any questions no matter how big/ small. Matt gave really in depth explanations throughout the coach journey, I normally find these type of situations to be boring, however he delivered the info in a really fun and engaging way. Our coach captain Jon was also super lovely and navigated us safely through some tricky weather conditions. Thoroughly recommend booking this tour, iceland 2024 over and out….

Matt and Louca$h best duo guides - Matt (Matthew) the Brit was such a fantastic guide, I felt compelled to write a review, we’ve had a few tours with Bus Travel Iceland now and no one else has been as attentive, fun, and informative as Matt (and Loucash) Bonus treat at the end too. He was extremely funny and inclusive of my teen. My son said he really knows his stuff, and the relationship between the bus drives and him is great - we would come back for that trip for them alone!
