Evening Small Group Tour - Definitely the way to go! We booked a private tour for our family (please be sure to see the min height and weight info!) and the guides were amazing. They went over and above to accommodate our family and children. The snorkeling is amazing and well worth the once in a lifetime excursion. We did a 6pm tour, which turns out is the perfect time as peak hours are extremely crowded. Less people definitely adds to the experience and we basically had the place to ourselves. Operators/guides are extremely knowledgeable and have excellent equipment. The wetsuits (vs dry suits that some companies use) kept everyone warm despite the water temp. Definitely recommend the small group experience and FreeDive!

Great Adventure- Miscommunication on drysuit vs Wetsuit - The snorkeling itself was incredible. Being in 36 degree water with 14 degree air around you is intense. The water was as advertised and worth trying. We thought we had booked a drysuit experience and the provider was a wetsuit outfit. In the water was actually not too bad, but getting in and out of a wetsuit in those temps was miserable.

Bad experience snorkelling - There were far too many people being herded through for either safety or comfort. I spent 2 hours in the rain getting the gear and instruction, and only 10-15 minutes in the water. It is a mass-production event that must make them a lot of money but I had a miserable experience. The organisers are raking it in but not offering a commensurate enjoyable or safe experience. Having said that the redeeming feature was the enthusiastic and helpful staff, who worked very hard to make the best of it.
