Top Notch - I met Manolo on the beach while staying at Serenade resort. He took my family for a two hour speed boat cruise around there area, it was the perfect break we needed from the resort.. We stopped to see the dolphins, got lucky and saw a few large sting rays, went snorkeling and all took turns driving the speed boat.. Do yourself a favor and be on the lookout for this guy at the beach, a man and his boat for hire! Way better the the hotel excursions. I used WhatsApp to get a hold of him and paid cash!

Best price for a quick adventure - Thank you for a fun time to our tour guide Manolo! We saw so many fish at the reef. It was a good price for about 3 hours of snorkeling, boating, and chilling at the natural pool. We had a lot of fun although there were some waves!

Exactly what we were looking for! - This was exactly what we were looking for! We wanted to snorkel but didn’t want to party or spend time in the natural pools with the loud boats and music. They let us customize the trip, picked us up within walking distance from our resort beach, took us to 2 snorkeling spots (Cabeza de Toro and one other right by Melia resort) and then a beautiful private beach. He also took us to the dolphin and stingray platforms in the aquarium at sea and we saw the dolphins do a performance and saw giant stingrays! He let us drive the boat which was fun but a little scary so he took over by our request. He got in the water with us a fed the fish so the snorkeling was amazing. He let us stay as long as we wanted at each spot (within 2 hour total time frame). I got pretty sea sick on a small boat and rough water day, but he had warned us it was a rough day and we chose to go anyway so not his fault! When we had enough at the second snorkel spot he got us right back to our hotel beach. Overall we loved it!! It was a little unclear at times what we were doing and was fast paced / a little chaotic but that may have been the language barrier. He also got amazing photos of us on his go pro which we purchased for $25 extra. Valerie was very communicative and helpful in getting it set up!

Private boat excursion! - The perfect day out at sea! Our tour guide was so much fun, he let us drive the boat most of the time and we won a few boat races, fast boat! 20 minutes each snorkeling, at the sandbar, and on the beach.

Great time with Manolo - My wife, daughters aged 10 and 12 , and Iwent out with Manolo on his boat on November 27th 2023. Manolo was an excellent guide and host. We made 2 stops. At the first we snorkeled with thousands of fish along a beautiful coral reef. The second we had pina coladas on a sand bar with other tourists and boats. We highly recommend the trip.

Good, but not for us - The overall trip was good, but probably not something we’d personally do again. The snorkelling was cool; he washed the goggles and snorkel with dish soap and sea water so not sure how sanitary they were 😬. I would not recommend snorkelling for kids. It was quite wavy so water kept getting into our snorkels. We got tired pretty quickly so we just stopped after a few minutes. There wasn’t much diverse fish anyway, maybe 2 whole kinds. Interesting experience though. They took us to a natural pool which was cool, but wasn’t the scene for us since we’re not much social drinkers. For everything that was included, I think it was a really good price.

No fun at sea. - The boat qas was "o.k." The tour guide Jose was nice and helpful, and pretty much the only good part. The weather was way to intense to snorkle first. The first stop was very sketchy,* the "natural pool". Water was very dirty surrounded by drunk people and boats. The last stop was showing us poor dolphins in a small pool, nothing nice about that. Do something else for 65$US.
