Highlights
- Capitol Hill - We will tour the neighborhood to get the cultural feel and start building that mental map of the different neighborhoods. Home to fabulous night life, indie shops and home of our LGBTQ community, Capitol Hill has it all!
- Columbia City Theater - We will see the historic Columbia City neighborhood, which has lovely older buildings, loads of brand new apts and a light rail station. If you’re looking for a neighborhood to settle in, this one is popular and a short train ride to downtown. Then we’re off to Beacon Hill and over to Georgetown.
- Beacon Hill Food Forest - We will check out the Beacon Hill neighborhood and discover incredible views and culture in this neighborhood just south of downtown. Then we’re off to Georgetown!
- Oxbow Park - The Georgetown neighborhood is one of my favorites, full of artists and bars and history! We will stop for a sweet treat at my favorite chocolatier in the city!

Every district in Seattle possesses a distinctive ambiance, architectural design and social life. Let’s embark on a journey and discover some of the highlights! We’ll explore Capitol Hill, the hotspot for nightlife, stroll through the Volunteer Park area to marvel at some of Seattle’s stunning, old-world Victorian-style residences, then set course to Columbia City, Beacon Hill, and Georgetown. Look for me inside with a Seattle Under the Radar Tours sign. Street parking near Vivace is limited to 2 hrs (the tour is 3 hrs) but there are garages nearby. Consider taking a Lyft/Uber or public transit if possible. The Capitol Hill Light Rail station is 4 blocks from Vivace Brix.

Excellent Adventures with Lynn - What a breath of fresh air! Lynn was very well versed on Seattle history. Her tour covered the many “burbs” of The City. Lynn allowed time to exit the vehicle - specialization in small group tours (one to four people) made conversation and flexibility key.
I was so impressed with her knowledge of history of The City as well as current knowledge of business, housing, and what one might refer to as local dignitaries 😊
Wish I had more time to explore. If I did I’d call Lynn!

Great option for those who are visiting Seattle - This one feels more like a private tour, which is great. Lynn is a very energetic and fun guide and she will take you to the interesting local neighborhoods for history and cultural lessons. Expect to walk a little, but you will also get a chance to take photos from the car. We would definitely recommend this one if you are visiting Seattle. It will give you some insights on the local vibes and it will feel like you are hanging out with your auntie/cousin who is showing you around. The tour is about 3h. Great experience.

A truly unique and informative tour! - Lynn was such a wonderful guide! She was friendly, funny, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the city and all its hidden history and fun. She was able to answer all of my random questions and shared many personal anecdotes that really made the different stops come to life. I 100% recommend this tour for anyone who is considering moving to the area, but it’s also great for any visitor who wants to dive deeper into the history and culture of Seattle. Don’t miss it!!

Best Seattle Tour!! - Absolutely the best - starting with the coffee! Unlike the typical “get on the bus, drive by the usual sites”, Lynn takes you to the most interesting spots you wouldn’t find for yourself or with anyone else. A Step high above the usual Tourist experience - Wonderful tour for first time and repeat visitors to Seattle!. This was my sister’s first trip and I’ve been here numerous times. Rather than a drive by of the famous sites - this tour takes you to the unique and interesting neighborhoods and attractions you would likely not find. Lynn is outstanding - knows fascinating details about Seattle’s history she pairs with current perspectives of a long-time
resident. She’s incredibly accommodating and fun! Take this tour.

Terrific insider view of Seattle - Lynn's tour is a great way to see Seattle through the eyes of a local. My tour was in mid September with two other passengers. Lynn suggested neighborhoods that were at the top of my list. We got a flavor for each neighborhood, and learned how populations had shifted over the years and changed some of the places. I enjoyed seeing the longtime favorite locales, especially in Capitol Hill. Lynn went above and beyond expectations, and even squeezed in a visit to Gas Works Park. I definitely recommend Lynn's tour.

Great tour by car with a local! - Lynn was a great guide and really knew her way around the city. Lots of interesting information about a few different neighborhoods and spots that we never would have found on our own. Would recommend taking this tour early in your trip so you know some cool places to go!
