Embark on a full-day excursion to Mount Rainier National Park. Experience cascading waterfalls, ancient forests, blooming meadows, and wildlife in their natural environment. This Mount Rainier journey includes all the expected highlights and also explores lesser-known areas, offering breathtaking views and scenes, cascades, and the park’s beauty. Whether you choose to hike or not, the choice is yours. The tour encompasses a complete circuit around Mount Rainier, showcasing varied and stunning landscapes. Four stops for hiking trails and/or waterfalls are incorporated into the itinerary. During May, June, and late October, there might be snow in Paradise, the roads will be open, but the return route may be the same. In such cases, we have planned for additional walks.

Great Day with Awesome Views - Cheryl planned a variety of stops for our tour enabling us to see native trees, flowers, waterfalls and of course the Mt. Rainier summit. She was very knowledgeable and provided great information. She also adjusted our hikes to accommodate my sometimes troublesome knees. We had a great day.

Buy the ticket! Take the ride! - Oh my, just seeing Mt. Rainier reveal itself from behind a huge cloud bank, was jaw dropping. My wife absolutely loved loved loved seeing the marmots.
Cheryl was one the top small tour guides we have ever booked. Her professional approach was like listening to a PhD in botany, zoology, and history, yet she was down to earth, and very patient. Cheryl was a wonderful example of what a small group tour should look like! Do yourself a favor, stop shopping, and book Cheryl now.

Best private Mt Rainier tour-Great Experience! - Cheryl was a great guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the Mt Rainier tour. She customizes each tour to your preference and abilities for hiking the different trails and if you'd rather do a picnic lunch or a restaurant meal. She's very knowledgeable about the history and geography of the area which we luved learning about. It's great going with someone local who knows where all the restrooms and water refill stations are AND the secret picnic spot with a beautiful view of the mountain! She also provides some snacks and really nice reusable water bottle that you get to keep. If we ever make it back to the ared we will definitely come back for another tour.

If you’re looking to experience nature…… - We spent a lovely day with Cheryl, she was very friendly and customised our tour to suit our needs. We saw all of the sights and Cheryl was full of information regarding Mount Rainier, the surroundings and the history of the area. We stopped at a small restaurant for lunch, the experience could have been better, but that was beyond Cheryl’s control. It was a wonderful day out in nature with the trees, wildlife and powerful waterfalls. Cheryl was great!!!

Mt. Rainier private tour - We had a wonderful experience on this private tour. We felt comfortable right away with Cheryl. We visited numerous walking trails, as well as some spots for extra photo opportunities. I'd definitely recommend this trip over a group tour and if we're ever back in the area I'd certainly book another trip with Cheryl's Northwest Tours. Thank you!

Mt Rainier is a must go - I chose private tour because I'm a single mom traveling with a 10-year-old and a 7-year-old. I didn't want to deal with driving, and I need something tailored to our needs.
Cheryl is native to this area. She is very knowledgeable. We had great conversation along the way (it was a long drive by the way). She gave me lots of great ideas visiting in Seattle where we could get around with public transportation by ourselves.
She was very considerate, making multiple stops for young kids, trying to balance between fun and educational, brining a cooler so that we could get lunch on the way (restaurant at the park was not fully operating yet). The SUV was clean and conffy. And she is a safe driver. She did not choose the shortest route to get to the destination, instead she took the one with more to see, and better sceneries. I can tell Cheryl did her best to give us a good time.

Cheryl made the Mt Rainer trip one of the best excursions that we have done - Cheryl at Northwest Adventures was wonderful. She was entertaining professional.
She took us to many wonderful spots in Mt Rainer. I feel I made a friend that day as she treated us like family. Cheryl was knowledgeable and familiar with the insight about the various routes, trails and sites.

Great Tour! - Cheryl is a lovely, informed, and kind person, who also happens to run a tour service. She provided our family of 4 with an amazing tour of Ranier that included several short hikes, views stops, and lots of information about what we were seeing along the way. She is great, and a tour with her is even better! Enjoy!

Outstanding experience! - An absolute pleasure. It felt like going with a friend and not a tour guide. Cheryl was knowledgeable and shared facts in a fun way. When we had to rearrange our route due to road closure, there were plenty of alternatives to chose from. The views were out of this world. Don't hesitate to book, or email Cheryl if you want adjustments to a specific tour. Will book again when we come back.
