Awesome Tour - Excellent tour! great stops in Mt. Rainier National Parks with beautiful views. I want to give a huge shout to the tour guide, Ron. Not only was he kind, courteous, and gave amazing facts throughout trip, he ensured that I, a person with a disability who has balance issues, was able to experience everything. Ron really went above and beyond.

Wonderful tour! - I had a day off in Seattle so decided to take a tour. I had a wonderful experience on this tour, which for me was the perfect blend of travelling by coach being able to look at the scenery, and walking. It is NOT a full day hiking trip so don't sign up if that's what you are expecting, but you are not sitting in the coach for the full day either. You have opportunities to hike a short distance into the woods at various points and experience and learn about the beautiful nature. We stopped for lunch above the snow line and had one hour free where we could walk up to a waterfall if we wanted to. I decided to do this (the trail is very well-marked) and I hugely enjoyed being able to do a slightly longer walk in the snow. We also had free time at the lodge to either relax or walk around the area and explore there. The guide was wonderful, really knowledgeable and I enjoyed talking to him very much. Mount Rainier is extremely beautiful and I'm happy to have been able to see and get to know it a little bit.

Scenic, flexible, and informative! Highly recommend! - This tour was wonderful! Our guide Ken shared a lot of information about Seattle and Mt. Rainier and the numerous little towns on the way there (such as Elbe or Ashford). We had several stops on our way during which we could do short hikes, enjoy the views, take pictures, and learn lots about the surrounding nature from Ken! Also, the first stop at a supermarket allowed us to get snacks/a lunch box since there were no restaurants open in Paradise - this was very convenient and a more economical option than bringing food from Seattle. On the way, we stopped at several scenic spots like Twin Firs, Longmire, and Christine Falls, before making our way to Paradise. There, we had a longer stop during which we could hike further up towards Myrtle Falls and/or enjoy lunch with a breathtaking view. You always also had the option to remain in the mini-bus, so everyone could decide as they preferred. I warmly recommend this tour!

Wondrous snow-capped peaks, forest trails and fantastic guide! - We lucked out with the weather- while cold it was bright and sunny, with crystal clear visibility of the gorgeous peaks. The Christine waterfall was glorious to experience as well. Loved walking through the forest. A couple of accessibility points were closed off for winter but what we saw/experienced was phenomenal. Shout to our guide Gary who was simply outstanding with his knowledge, enthusiasm and good cheer. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Exceed expectations - Ron Hanson is a highly experienced individual. Ron exceeded my expectations for this trip. Ron explained various items on biology of plants/forest, some history on locations and shared stories on past experiences during the tours. I would highly recommend Ron and his company for this trip.

A good experience, then a bad experience, but it turned out well - I did a lot of review reading before I booked this tour. We had about a 20 minute walk from our hotel to meet the bus (at 6:45 am - I wish we met in front of an OPEN coffee shop! This is Seattle - I can't believe there wasn't one open nearby). The bus was actually early and Ron - the driver - called a few people to make sure they were on their way. That was really kind. There is a lot of sitting on a bus on this tour, so if you're out-of-shape, don't worry. In retrospect, I wish I had booked this tour and then booked a car for another day. There were so many places we stopped where I wished we had another hour or two to wander. This is a great tour as an appetizer - you should definitely come back for the main course! Ron was very enthusiastic and if you sit in the front, you'll be called upon to help with his stories by passing pictures or equipment around. Very cool! As an efficiency lover, I highly approve of the way he knew all the best spots for pictures and would station himself in the appropriate place then call out "RON SPOT!" We would hand him our phones, stand where he indicated, and he'd snap pictures of each tourist/couple. It was a great way to get pictures done! Unfortunately, we had finished with our day, but just outside the park, our vehicle's tire started to flatten. We pulled into a gas station and Ron, passengers, and the staff back at the home base started to troubleshoot. This is nobody's fault, in my opinion, but we did spend almost 4 hours at the gas station. We all made the best of it - our group was full of good attitudes! We ate gas station food and drinks bought by the company. I bought a used romance novel and hunkered down in the parking lot. We did eventually make it back to Seattle - another bus came for us and we left the damaged bus behind - but there was a lot of talk about canceled dinner reservations, flight times for the morning, etc. I was surprised that the company didn't contact us in the few days following the tour. I sent an email 2 weeks later and immediately received a 50% refund. I appreciate that, but I wish the company had reached out immediately. Overall, I think my bad experience was a random experience. This is a good company and the rest of the tour was very good, even though it involved a lot of sitting on the bus. I appreciate the response from the company once I reached out.
