Great course instructor. We had Olen Wilson. It was a comprehensive class to get acquainted with the basics of sailing. I highly recommend.

Great course set up with class ans sailing time split between the two days. Instructor was great with explanations of instructions to help me understand ans see the end game. Lots of friendly folks supporting the course at the SCSA in Seabrook, TX.

Captain/Instructor Olen Howard was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain course material. When on the boat during skill building exercises, the captain gave everyone ample time in each position and rotated us out often. While the course is a bit intense because there is so much to learn in a short period it was enjoyable as well. I look forward to one day returning to complete my ASA 103/104. We so enjoyed our weekend of rapid learning. Capt. Steve was especially kind and patient with teaching four novices. The agenda also worked well to provide enough time on the water to apply our classroom learnings. Thank you Southcoast sailing. We will be back soon and looking forward to using our 4 hour voucher to learn some more.
