Sweet desert single track - Excellent half day ride in the desert north of Scottsdale with guide Single-Speed Dennis. Lots of local knowledge, flowy trails, a bit of fun playing on the slabs of Diablo Trail. Wild Bunch ipcked me up at my hotel with a sweet full-suspension ride, drove me out to the desert, gave a few great hors on the ride and depositied me home tired and happy.

1/2 day Sonoran Desert mountain biking - I thought I had written this review 6 weeks ago but not sure what happened in the process... Just book Wild Bunch for Phoenix/Scottsdale adventure! What a wonderful outfit Wild Bunch is! My husband and I are from a very flat environment but wanted to try the Sonoran Desert mountain biking. Laurel, the owner, was a great communicator and also gave me fabulous tips on non-guided hiking options. John, our guide for the day, is a GEM. He was so patient when some of the inclines were just too much for me, he made everything all about us and our adventure. He is so knowledgable about the desert and landscape, he made the morning just a perfect start to the day for us. The communication from both Laurel and John before and after the adventure was unmatched by any excursion I have ever experienced. The bikes were in excellent condition, the provided water bottles (that we got to keep) and snacks were a nice touch, the scenery was beautiful... Just go on an adventure with Wild Bunch, you won't regret it.

Kicking off the New Year in style! - What a great way to kick off the New Year riding through the McDowell Sonoran preserve with our guide Don. Don is a veteran guide of the area and he tailored the tour to everyones ability. Our group were all fairly experienced mountain bikers so we hit some of the more challenging trails. He provided expert advice on managing some the more difficult features or gave the option to walk or ride around. A great focus on safety from the start coupled with fun and education. I've been riding around here for years but he taught me so many things about the desert, cactus and Brown's Ranch. A great time was had by all. We spent about 3 hours on tour and when we got back a little early he even offered an extra bonus loop which we gladly rode! Great bikes, gear, water and snacks. Kudos to Don and Wild Bunch Desert Guides.

Amazing time! - The whole tour was incredible, Dennis was an excellent leader, challenging and supportive. We took a 3 hour tour but it felt like 10 minutes, it was a great time, it is a MUST in Scottsdale

Mountain biking afternoon - Excellent afternoon with our awesome guide Mike! We rode some great single track with a few stops along the way to learn more about the area we were riding through. The owner Laurel was very responsive with communication and had great bikes for us to ride. Highly recommend this company.

Awesome Mountain Bike Tour - Our very first time ever on a mountain bike and we can not thank Wild Bunch Desert Guides and Don Arbuckle enough! We booked a private tour and can not wait to come back. Don's kindness, understanding, patience and sheer joy of sharing mountain biking has us ready to sell the road bikes! Our guided tour also included great history of the region as well as the desert and we learned so much about wildlife as well as Cactus. We definitely pushed beyond our limits and accomplished more than we would have imagined all because of an awesome coach, mentor and person. Thanks Don, we will see you again. Jeff and Maggie.

Great ride - Laurel, the owner, came out to welcome us and thank us for biking with her business. We did two rides with Mike. First was with our 20 something kids and second time with friends. Both rides were amazing. Mike was patient and taught us what we needed to know to have a great ride. We learned a lot about the plants and wildlife in the desert. Will definitely use them again on our next trip to Phoenix

Family spring break trip - Great owner that cares about her customers! Guides were great and informative! My kids had a blast! Was able to do 10 miles of bike riding in desert and guides were great at teaching us how to handle the bikes. Would do it again!

First Time Mountain Biking with Don is Dynamite! - We, two complete novices, spent a wonderful 3 hours on the trails with our guide Don. You could not ask for a better teacher or ambassador for the sport of mountain biking. He was supportive, informative, and encouraging to us both. You have lots of choices when looking to do hiking/biking in the Scottsdale area. This is true gem of a company and I wouldn't hesitate to adventure with them again.

An Awesome Experience All Around!! - My wife and I had the great pleasure of going on a MTB ride with Wild Bunch Desert Guides. Laurel organized the trip, gave us some very realistic information about the difficulty of the trail that we wanted to do, and set us up with our guides Ellen and Rebel. The ride was as difficult as Laurel described. We would not have done this ride without our guides. Ellen and Rebel were awesome!! We highly recommend Wild Bunch and will be booking with Laurel again !!!
