- iFLY Indoor Skydiving - Phoenix - Arrive at iFLY Phoenix and get started by putting on your gear and going through a specialized training session from an expert flight instructor.
You’ll learn how to safely float in an 800-horsepower vertical wind tunnel that generates a wall-to-wall cushion of air - commonly used by professional skydivers - without having to jump from a plane. Just about anyone can fly, and no experience is necessary.
Once you’re inside the enclosed space of the flight chamber, a tunnel operator slowly increases the wind speed until you and your instructor are airborne. Feel the adrenaline rush as you float at wind speeds reaching 130 to 175 mph (209 to 282 kph). The stable wall-to-wall airflow keeps you from falling off the column of air, and your instructor is on hand at all times to guide you.
The entire indoor skydiving experience takes about 75 minutes from start to finish. Each session includes up to six people, but you fly one-on-one with your instructor for 60 seconds in the wind tunnel twice.

Experience the excitement of skydiving without the need to leap from a plane. Yes, you heard it right! Visit iFLY Phoenix, a top-notch indoor skydiving center equipped with a cutting-edge vertical wind tunnel. After a brief training, you’ll get to simulate the conditions of free-falling under the guidance of an instructor. Prior experience is not required, and at the end, a customized flight certificate awaits you.
- If you have previous neck, back, heart, injuries or shoulder dislocations, are pregnant or wearing a hard cast - you will not be able to fly.
- In order to provide a safe experience for its customers and instructors, iFLY may not be able to accommodate flyers who weigh between 260-300 lbs and will not be able to accommodate flyers whose weight exceeds 300 lbs. Upon check in for flight reservations, additional evaluation by local staff will be required to determine if flyers between 260-300 lbs can be accommodated and whether additional restrictions may apply.
- Minimum age is 3 years
- Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver
- It is recommended that you wear well-fitting, lace-up sneakers or running shoes and comfortable clothes
- If you need to reschedule after your reservation is made please call the location directly. Modifications to reservation dates and times cannot be done any other way.

Awesome experience and FANTASTIC staff - This was such a FANTASTIC experience! First-timers in our group were a bit nervous at first (including a 9-year-old) but once you get in there, the instructor and the operator take really great care of you.
I'll note that our instructor, Carson, quickly became one of our favorite people! His enthusiasm, his eagerness to share his love of flying, and his patience working with so many different people (different ages, builds, levels of comfort...) made him not only a great teacher but also a great person to spend time with. He simply was so much fun! As for the operator, I didn't get his name but he, too, was smiling the whole time. He showed us what to do with our arms if we were confused and gave so many signs of encouragement. It may look intimidating at first but when everyone is so excited for you, you might forget to be scared :)
I can hardly believe that they put this kind of care into serving every single flyer, but they seem to genuinely love it. And we all thoroughly enjoyed seeing Carson do a few super hero moves at the end. It was delightful way to close a wonderful and memorable session.
By the way, if you can afford it, do the High Fly (and I say this as someone who's scared of heights).

An Amazing Time! - Our family had a wonderful time!
The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. It was so fun, we purchased another pass to go back a few days afterwards. Definitely recommend it, it was a highlight of the vacation!

Gift for Granddaughter - I surprised my 12 year old granddaughter with 2 flights, but at first she was not happy about it. Her anxiety kicked and she was reluctant to do it. Waz, the instructor, was amazing. He was so good at making her comfortable, that when it was over, she was smiling ear to ear. She had a great time. Thank you, Waz!

Amazing! - This was my first visit and I was a little nervous. There was a short training and our instructor taught us the 4 hand signals he would use to assist us with positioning. I also went for the high fly which I recommend. To get the full experience you need to try the high fly because it is awesome! I never felt fearful and I embraced this truly fun and amazing experience. I highly recommend it!

Norell Parks - Norell was the only black kid there, I felt they should of made sure he had a good experience by taking him up, they didn't take him up at all, it wasn't fair when they took other kids up! I felt like he didn't get the whole experience.
