Temple of Literature & National University - 9:00 AM: Guests will be picked up by a tour guide to visit The Temple of Literature, established during the Ly dynasty in the 11th century to honor Confucius and educate Royal children. Enjoy a stroll in the garden to see the city’s symbol, Khue Van Cac. Visitors will then see the World Heritage “stone steles,” which list the names of outstanding students. Continue to explore Quoc Tu Giam, considered Vietnam’s first national university.
Hoa Lo Prison - The tour continues to Hoa Lo prison museum. Spend an hour learning about the Vietnamese War. Hoa Lo was one of the largest prisons in Indochina, built by the French colonists in 1896 for Vietnamese political prisoners. Later, it became known as the Hanoi Hilton for imprisoning American pilots.
French Quarter - In the afternoon, visit The French Quarter, a “little Paris” in Hanoi with tree-lined boulevards, government offices, and a large square. Visit (outside) Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum before taking a leisurely walk in the botanical gardens to see the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts where he lived and worked. Visit the unique One-Pillar Pagoda, one of the city’s symbols. Exploring this complex takes 1 to 2 hours, depending on the number of travelers.
Hanoi Train Street - Hanoi Train Street is a unique, vibrant alley in the heart of Hanoi, where a railway track runs just inches from residential homes. It offers a fascinating glimpse into local life combined with the excitement of trains passing close by. If lucky, visitors might witness a train passing right in front of them—a thrilling and unforgettable experience. While there, relax with a local drink at one of the cozy trackside cafes and soak in the unique atmosphere.
Old Quarter - Explore Hanoi’s Old Quarter, originally established in the 15th century as a bustling trading hub, featuring 36 streets—each historically dedicated to a specific craft or product. Despite the city’s evolution, the Old Quarter remains a vibrant living museum. Its iconic tube houses, narrow alleyways, centuries-old temples, open-air markets, and delicious street food create a captivating blend of history and everyday life. Exploring this charming neighborhood on foot is the best way to awaken all your senses.
Thang Long Water Puppet - Finally, enjoy the water puppet shows, unique performances that first appeared in the 11th century. In these shows, the daily life, culture, and beliefs of Vietnamese people are depicted by puppets on water. The show usually includes a traditional music performance as well.

Trung Trang Cave - 06:00 – 06:30: Start the day early to experience the bay at its most serene, while enjoying a Tai Chi session on the sundeck.
06:45 – 07:00: A light breakfast will be served. After breakfast, continue the journey and explore the surrounding area of the bay.
07:15 – 07:30: Head to Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island by bus. Located in the heart of Cat Ba National Park, surrounded by Kim Giao Forest, Trung Trang Cave lies in Trung Trang Valley, 15 km northwest of Cat Ba Town. This 300-meter-long cave, passing through the mountain, is renowned for its mysterious beauty, shaped by millions of years of geological activity, and is home to various historical relics. Inside, you’ll find numerous stalactites in fascinating shapes that spark the imagination and amaze visitors.
Old Quarter - 09:45 – 10:00: The Nostalgia Cruise welcomes guests back on board, and it’s time to check out.
10:00 – 10:30: Enjoy a delightful brunch at the restaurant as the cruise returns.
11:00 – 11:45: Bid farewell at Tuan Chau Port, marking the end of the cruise program.
The driver will greet guests at the Cruise Waiting Lounge and transfer them to Hanoi. The journey takes approximately 2.5-3 hours, with a restroom stop available along the way (optional).
Hanoi - Hoi An (Fly to Da Nang, travel to Hoi An)
Da Nang - The driver will pick guests up from the lobby of their hotel in Hanoi and take them to Noi Bai Airport. The drive takes approximately 45 minutes.
Upon arrival at Da Nang airport, a local driver will greet guests and transfer them to their accommodation in Hoi An, a journey of approximately 1 hour. Once they reach their hotel, they’ll have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy at their leisure.
Hoi An (Take a stroll through Hoi An’s ancient town to discover its essential highlights.)
Japanese Covered Bridge - Hoi An was one of the most typical Southeast Asian trading ports from the 15th to the 19th century, and the Old Town is still well-preserved. The exchanged cultures are displayed in many historic buildings, religion, daily business, and enriched by the authentic lifestyle of local inhabitants.
Firstly, visit Hoi An city’s symbol - the Chua Cau or the Japanese Covered Bridge, built in the 17th century to connect the Japanese quarter with the Chinese neighborhoods. The bridge’s original style has been carefully preserved for the last 400 years.
The Old House of Phung Hung - Continue to visit a special ancient house. Located in the center of Hoi An, built in the 18th century, Phung Hung house is evidence of cultural exchange during the town’s splendid time and has been used as a home for more than eight generations. Meet a local guide, also a family member, and follow them to discover the values of the house.
Hoi An Market - Finally, enjoy an excursion to Hoi An center market, the best place to see local daily life. Situated on the riverside, the large market is packed with stalls where visitors can easily find a huge variety of food at extremely cheap prices. There is also a great fresh vegetable, meat, and fish market worth visiting.
Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City (Transfer to Da Nang and take a morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City.)
Ho Chi Minh City - The driver will pick guests up from the lobby of their hotel in Hoi An and transfer them to Da Nang Airport.
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, a local guide and driver will warmly welcome guests at the pickup area. They’ll then be transferred to their hotel in the city.
Ho Chi Minh City (Explore the Cu Chi tunnels and get a glimpse of Vietnam’s history)
Cu Chi Tunnels - 8:00 AM: Depart from the hotel to visit the most striking place in the history of the Vietnam War, the Cu Chi Tunnels.
Cu Chi is a real underground city made up of a large network of tunnels covering an area of over 250km long where the Viet Cong conducted the war of resistance against American troops. All of the tunnels were dug over a period of twenty years using only pickaxes and shovels. The tour includes special access to some parts of the tunnels.

At the Cu Chi shooting range, guests can enhance their experience by trying real gun firing. This service allows visitors to test their aim with a variety of firearms under supervision. It’s a thrilling option for those seeking a bit of adventure. This is an optional service not included in the tour price, and guests will need to pay on the spot.
