- Marietas Islands - The Marietas Islands is a small group of Islands often called the Galapagos of Mexico. Now a National wildlife and marine reserve, this amazing place is teaming with wildlife both above and below the water. It is one of the few places in the world you can spot Blue Footed Boobies!
As we cruise out to the Marietas Islands you will enjoy a continental breakfast. Once at the Marietas’, you will have time to explore the main beach also known as Playa La Nopalera.
After exploring the island you will have time to snorkel, swim and play in the water.
Hidden Beach Access is not included with this tour
The Marietas Islands National Park strictly limits access and only 116 people per day are permitted to visit Hidden Beach.
There is an extra fee that is payable in cash the day of the tour. Please let us know if you are interested in visiting Hidden Beach and we will try our best to secure access for you.

Additional Information
This spacious boat has a lower and upper deck with plenty of shade or sun options.
On the seven-hour full-day tour, start with a continental breakfast. Lunch is tacos and fajitas with chicken, beef, rice, beans, tortillas, and salsa. If anyone has any dietary restrictions, we can help with alternative options. As well enjoy snacks, guacamole, potato chips, and an unlimited open bar. Drinks include anything from water, coffee, juice, smoothies, soda, Margaritas, Piña Coladas, beer, tequila, and wine; whatever you can think of, whatever you choose to drink.
All water activities and water toys are included too!
Have fun in the water with: paddleboards, kayaks, fishing, snorkeling, whale watching (when in season), water tubing, splash nets, water mattress, our famous water slides, and endless fun!

Highly recommend! - We had such a fun day yesterday on this tour! The island was amazing! We saw lots of cool fish when we snorkelled, and the seabirds were neat. Beautiful sand beaches. We even saw humpbacks on the way out! Our 17 year old son loved it. The crew was great! Thanks for a fabulous day. Highly recommend.

all day boat - Everything was fantastic. The crew was the best and we had so much fun swimming. The hidden beach is definitely worth it if you can get a spot and snorkeling was the best seeing so many fish. Would highly recommend!

Memorable Day - We loved our day with Oswaldo (or Casper!) and his friendly crew. We had a short ride from Sayulita to the ferry where we were greeted with breakfast and a glorious ocean. We saw a sea lion, several whales, and some sting rays as we sailed to the Marietas Islands which were stunning. We swam up to the most beautiful beach I’ve seen and snorkelled and saw some gorgeous fish. The vibe was family friendly and the service was terrific. Shout out to Carlos back in Sayulita, manning the desk in his friendly, charming manner. We also enjoyed Ricky on his boat! A class act!

Amazing Day - - [ ] We had the most amazing day on a private sailing adventure while in Puerto Vallarta. I cannot say enough about the crew, Captain Pepe, Tanya, Roberto, and Lalo were so attentive. Our captain may be the most seasoned captain in Mexico and I want to thank him for his patience while I peppered him with many questions about his adventure and sailing in general. He has spent up to 3 months at a time repositioning people’s sailboats in nasty conditions and is a true man of the sea. Once concern I have had with past sailing excursions is the lack of “sailing” which I know is due to complexity for the captain and crew..not so with Captain Pepe and we spent a majority of the time under sail power which was AMAZING!!! It seemed every 5 minutes we were being asked if we needed additional snacks or drinks, so attentive. Tanya actually collected shells once we were at our destination, for a child in our party which was so thoughtful. We ended up “splurging” and opted for the fajitas which was like an extra 5 USD per person. The value for the experience was a real bargain and this was the highlight of our trip to PV. The owner was responsive pre sailing, when we had questions. Oh and we saw dozens of sea life including humpback whales with calf’s. Literally nothing negative to say, this was AMAZING. Thanks to all that made this a great day

Marietas Islands Family Boat Day - This trip was great! The staff on the boat were exceptional. Extremely helpful and thoughtful. They were great with the kids and very helpful with all the activities. I will warn you that many are traveling without children and it is an open bar. So if you prefer your family not see that this may not be your trip. Although, that did not bother us.

Great experience - 1) The weather was rough, the crew was able to pivot and make a different activity for us which was so much fun. 2) The food/service was great 3) My son threw up on the boat and the crew was beyond helpful and nice to us. Overall we had a great time and I would recommend this to anyone!

AMAZING!!!! - An absolutely amazing trip!! The crew was fantastic! Right from boarding they were so attentive to everyone on the boat, serving breakfast and drinks. All the way through the trip they were very informative regarding the whales (and we saw so many). The lunch and guacamole was outstanding! Lalo (sorry of the spelling is wrong) was so great with helping us on the boat when it got a bit rocky.
Hands down would recommend this trip over and over again to everyone!

A truly memorable and fun day! - We loved our trip with Chicca Loca tours! Luis and his crew did so much to make the trip memorable and fun. Food and drinks were all delicious. Would suggest bringing a sunshirt since a lot of the day is in open skies and sunscreen isn’t allowed at the national park. It was so fun to see whales!

Well run tour - Very well run tour - staff were very professional, knowledgeable and attentive. Food and drink was good and plentiful, snorkelling equipment was well maintained. Saw lots of whales, blue footed boobies, and other birds. Pick up and drop off was well done. I recommend it.
