We had such a fun time with Skylar as our chef. He was fun, easygoing and incredibly knowledgeable regarding the "chemistry" of cooking and how, why and when you would use different ingredients. I have been baking for 50 years and cook at least 95% of our meals at home, from scratch. He taught me things I did not know. I also liked how hands on the class was and that he very seamlessly included everyone! The ingredients used and taste of food were why I deducted one star. I guess I expected clean/raw ingredients and excellent food. Fried green tomatoes were good, but used flavored Ritz crackers as the coating. I've had way better shrimp and grits and didn't even eat my biscuit. What was amazing and I've already made is the Praline Angel Food Cake and a double batch of the BlackEyePea salad.
