Wonderful military war museum! - Glad I found this unexpected gem on TripAdvisor! Although it is a relatively small museum, it is jam packed with things to see. Their website says there are "military artifacts from the American Civil War to Desert Storm." I believe though that there were a few items from the Revolutionary War as well. We were amazed at how many military artifacts a private person had collected. I'd recommend getting the free scavenger hunt paper sheet to identify a selected item in each exhibit. It just made you look at things a little closer. The woman at the front desk also was friendly & responsive.

A must see! - Five stars doesn't do it justice. My wife, our friends and and I visited this museum and I have to say it was the best thing we did while we were in Savannah. Mr. Webb, the proprietor and our tour guide, had an incredible military collection and was so knowledgeable about everything that he made our visit tremendously informative and so personal that it felt like you were visiting a friend. Some of the items on display I am certain I will never see anywhere else. Our one big mistake was coming later in the day as we could have spent much more time there. My suggestion - make it an early in the day stop so you'll have plenty of time to look around, but regardless, make sure you do visit if you're in Savannah.

Outstanding - too much to see. Could have spent all day. - There was so much to see. I could have spent all day. The greeter at the door was wonderful. We could have talked to her all day too. So many neat exhibits to look at. One could go repeatedly and never view it the same way twice. For anyone into military history, this is a must if you are in the Savannah area.

Go see it! - This was by far one of the most extensive private collections I have ever seen. We stumbled across this museum by accident, but I only wish I had known about it on previous trips. Mr. Webb is practically a walking encyclopedia, and there were multiple pieces within that I honestly couldn’t believe I was looking at. There was a vast collection from almost every time period. Can’t recommend it enough!

Peaked My Interest - I'm not a history museum fan, but the owner was so intriguing and knowledgeable, with the most unusual collections I have ever heard of or seen. I went because my husband wanted to go.

Must visit! - This was so cool. Gary Webb was so nice and passionate about his personal collection of artifacts. He had so many amazing items! We were on a trip to celebrate a bride and a birthday. Gary even gave us a bottle of champagne and opened it with a sword! We had such a great time here. I highly recommend, especially if you love history! Thank you, Gary!
