A must do - We loved this tour. Our driver Tony was excellent. Knowledgable and funny. We really enjoyed seeing Savannah this way and especially through Tony’s eyes

Entertaining and interesting transportation. - My wife and I used the trolley for 2 days and found it an enjoyable and convenient way to get around. The drivers were all excellent, especially Cynthanea, with her engaging charm, confidence, and stories of Savannah, although each displayed their own unique take on the city and its history. The route taken allows easy access to most areas of this very walkable city from the various stops, and while we were there, waiting time at any stop was 10 min. maximum. Be aware that the seats can be a bit narrow, but we recommend the hop-on, hop-off trolley for its fun and entertaining experience.

Well worth the price! In such a fun way, you will quickly learn of Savannah’s history and uniqueness. - The tour was hugely informative, fun, and extremely accommodating. Our guide/driver, Red, was as fantastic as they come! She was knowledgeable, funny, polite, and has amazing driving abilities (adeptly navigating the craziness of downtown traffic and pedestrians). This tour is well worth the price. My only suggestion is that you go through the entire tour/circuit before you start getting off at various stops.

Fun times with first timers to Savannah. - We e been to Savannah dozens of times since 1990 and when we bring “newbies” with us, we always head for Old Town Trolley Tours. With hop on and off options, it’s perfect to combine walking and riding. Truly every time we hear the stories and the history we realize that every “conductor” brings a fun spin on what we already knew. Lacey and Ted were terrific.

wonderful tour with the best driver/narrator - the driver and narrator, Miss Denise, has over 21 years of working for the trolley line. She was awesome; gave folks humor as well as historical facts.

Go with Deion. - Deion. Find Deion and take the entire loop with him and then hop on and hop off and check out the places you want to go.

Nice, but... - Very nice tour! Operator's were knowledgeable and friendly. During peak times though, it can take quite a while to hop back on the trolley. They are often full. And if no one gets off, you're stuck waiting for another one. Advise...when you want to hop back on, walk to a busy stop so chances are greater people will get off the trolley to make room.

Ok for transportation/overview but not for history - We took the ride merely to get an overview of Savannah. And, for that it is fine. But don’t put much faith in the narrative you hear from the driver. They are literally reading a script that contains lots of half-truths and misnomers. For example, the driver said many homes had dual outdoor steps because women would take separate stairs out of modesty. That is nonsense; the dual stairs were built to give the structure symmetry (a standard for the classical Greeks). If you are interested in actual history, check out Brandon Carter’s “Savannah - True History Tours”. Brandon is an attorney by education and licensing, and is a former National Park Service Ranger. If you are a history buff, check out his tours

Not a good day! - We were there Martin Luther King day! I didn’t realize Savannah had a parade that day! We couldn’t get to the boarding area so we went to Riverstreet. We found that the trollers were in the parade and didn’t start til 1pm. Would have been Nice for someone to contact me. The trolly showed up at 215pm. We wasted 1/2 day of our tour.. waiting and they didn’t extend the hours past 5 pm. First guy who picked us up talked quietly and we missed that whole part of the tour. We asked him to speak lifer but he did nothing louder. The whole trolley was complaining. The hop off part of the tour was impossible due to the time constraints! A total waste of money! I want my money back! Booooo!
