The Unapologetic Truth of Savannah Slavery History - By far one of the best tours I had in Savannah! Sista Patt, guided us through the an extensive unapologetic history of the slavery and the Guallah people of Savannah. The only con was there was only one stop along the tour. Would have loved to have stopped at a few places and taken some photos.

Best storyteller - She knows the history. A storyteller you want to take with you. Filling in the (gaps)stories that was never told in school.

Must do! - We did this tour with Rozz, we can not express how important this tour is! We also did other tours but this one a totally different perspective! Rozz not only was entertaining, fun and experienced but her dedication to being a truth teller was unbelievable. Her depth of knowledge and her continued fight to make sure we all “know the truth and that will lead to healing and hopefully repair” we all need to hear the TRUTH. We loved this tour so much..It is definitely a must do when visiting Savannah!!

Truth, Pride, and Love- without this you have not visited Savannah, no matter where you are from! - Walking around the beautiful historic city of Savannah, with trees older than the constitution still protecting city dwellers from the blistering heat, I was searching for some reference to the history of slavery; a plaque or a sign that would honor the story of the hands and craftsmanship that, underneath it all, built the city - but found none! Since, history is my passion and my business, I sought out this tour, hoping I would get an honest insight. This morning Sistah Roz gave me and my family just that and so much more- and she did it in a way that was as knowledgeable and educational as it was healing. During my research into colonial indentured servitude, I came across plenty of advertisements for the sale of slaves in colonial newspapers that tell a lot about the cruelty of the system beyond the general knowledge of the triangle trade, so felt pretty well prepared for the antagonizing realities of the system, but focusing on the ugliness of human nature, is not Sistah Roz's style. She brings the history of slavery in Savannah to life by instilling the memory of the people with rightful pride, filling the views of the city with the remnants of hard work, craftsmanship and skill that the slaves brought to the city. All the while she gave deep insight into the historic places and hidden stories of people's lives, that still have no markers. I learned so much more than I had hoped about the details behind the pragmatic calculations of the system as well as the culture and heritage of the people who were brought here. To top it off, Sistah Roz connected the past to the present in a way that truly enlightens! Therefore, I would recommend this tour as a must to anybody visiting Savannah!
