Great information and enjoyable experience. - The tour was excellent. Our guide Brit did a great job providing historical context as well as examaples of how that history shaped current day Savannah. Would highly recommend. Walk was enjoyable.

Thank you Britt! - This tour was amazing! It was just me and my travel companion. Our guide took to “extra” sites so our tour was about an hour longer than expected but we loved that extra attention. Our guide named Britt was superb and had a commanding knowledge of the churches, the religions and other interesting historical facts. We loved our time with Britt and highly recommend this tour!

Britney has a wealth of... - Britney has a wealth of knowledge to share. A lot of information. A bit overwhelming keeping up with all the information given to us. Enjoyed the churches we were able to go into. I thought we would be able to enter more churches. I do realize that is something that Britney could not control.

Fantastic Tour - Our guide was fantastic and we enjoyed all of the tour. So much of Savannah’s early history is linked to the historic churches, so we found it to be a very informative introduction to our new area.

Close look at the church beginnings - Super narration and knowledgeable guide. We were the only couple so we had great conversations about the churches and people throughout the past couple of centuries. I highly recommend this to get a closer look at the beginnings of Savannah.

Holy Sites - Gia, our tour guide, was amazing. She was so knowledgeable about the churches we visited. We were the only ones signed up for the tour that day, so it was a very personalized tour. Our only regret was not being able to visit the inside of more churches. The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist was truly inspiring. The Stations of the Cross, the stained glass windows, the baptismal font, the altar - beautiful displays of artistic work to make a church into truly holy ground. One suggestion would be to make arrangements with at least one other church to be able to see the inside. Would highly recommend Gia because of her bright smile and friendly personality - and a genuine love for the churches and history in Savannah.

Enjoy historic Savannah and the heart of the town. - We enjoyed our tour guide, Lane. The architecture of the churches was very impressive. Unfortunately we did not get to go into a lot of the churches, but we did get to see interior photos from Lane's phone. Lane also added additional historical information in addition to information on the various churches. Overall, a very enjoyable walking tour. We were in town on Sunday morning, so we also attended the Independent Presbyterian Church and they have a free pamphlet "The Stones Cry Out" which was very informative on their church's architectural points and emphasis, which I recommend reading if you have an interest in reformed Presbyterian viewpoints (or church architecture in general).

Enjoy Church History in Savanah - Our guide, Lane, took us on a leisurely walk through several historic squares and past at least seven churches of many denominations. We were able to enter two churches, but Lane was quick to show us interior photos of each church that she readily accessed from her phone. She also had a historical story to share at each stop. Anyone interested in religious architecture and church history in America would enjoy this tour. The tour ends about a mile from the starting point so be prepared to either walk back (an easy walk along Bull Street) or Uber back.
