An Hour We'll Spent - An interesting, well-restored historic house. The guides are volunteer docents; the one we got was excellent.

Great visit. - Was very interesting and informative. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Was a great addition to going to the Juliette Gordon Low house.

Enjoyable Tour - Beautiful Home! - If you love historic homes and history, Savannah is a great place to visit. On a recent weekend get-away I chose to tour the Andrew Low House which is located in the lovely Lafayette Square. I was just a couple of minutes late for a tour. Rather than have me wait, the lady at the desk, suggested I catch up to the tour and pay the admission ($11) after I finished the tour. I thought that was very nice. Gloria, our docent, was well versed in the history, furnishings, and architectural details of the home. I enjoyed both seeing the home and learning about it. Even though, quite 'fancy' it felt like a family home. Juliette Gordon Low, famous for founding the Girl Scouts, was the wife of Andrew Low's son, William MacKay Low. After the tour I got the ‘tea’ from the lady who collected my money. Old William was having an affair and in the process of divorcing her when he suddenly died. It was messy, but she ended up getting the house. Many of the early Girl Scout activities were conducted at the home. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend the Andrew Low House Tour. - Very good tour guide and the house was outstanding. The history and background given of the family really helps to understand the people of past Savannah.

Great tour guide! - Beautiful house and we had a great tour guide who was very informative. I would recommend this tour to someone who is interested in architecture.

Nice historic home museum - A beautiful old house. The guides were very knowledgeable and provided a great tour. A lot of work has been down to restore and keep the house in an “original” state. They had some good information about Juliet Gordon Low and the Girl Scouts. I loved their use of QR codes around to read more information but I would have liked a little more time on my own so I could use the QR codes.

Very nice property! - Absolutely beautiful property with friendly and knowledgeable staff and even a gift shop! The docent was a great resource of information. Most of the tour is spent in the first floor main room hearing the story of Andrew Low and how his family became connected with Juliette Gordon, and the series of events that led her to launching the Girl Scouts. It’s a pretty amazing story. Much of the house you tour and view on your own as a period example of the home with about 30% of the items being original to the house and all being museum quality from the time period. Make sure you see the front gardens too! We really enjoyed the history and property, and it’s a sister property with the Green-Meldrim house!

Enjoyed the history - I very much enjoyed touring this home. The tour was guided and lasted around 30 minutes, thus it can be easily combined with other activities in the area. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. I especially enjoyed learning about the Andrew Low family. This was the home that Juliette Gordon Low lived in when she started the Girl Scouts. There was a little discussion about her, but really focused on Andrew Low and his family.

Interesting tour - We stumbled upon this tour when we were looking for the Scout Headquarters next door. The staff was very friendly and let us join a tour that just started and allowed us to pay afterward. They had scavenger hunt check-off sheets for the kids that were fun. The tour was just enough to entertain and inform. We enjoyed the tour guide pointing out specific details in each room, and how she helped our kids find the items on the sheet.

Meh - The house has been restored and nicely done, but very few actual Low family items. Your does not include the help/kitchen area (entire first floor). Very quick tour; I’ve experienced better.
