This one-week journey showcases UNESCO-protected sites and cities within Albania. The country boasts a wealth of cultural heritage sites, making this tour significant from both a historical and archaeological perspective.
Throughout the week-long journey, you’ll discover the fantastic town of Berat, famously branded ‘THE CITY OF A THOUSAND AND ONE WINDOWS’, and the stone-built city of Gjirokastra, where the nation’s customs and traditions are still passionately upheld.
In addition, you’ll visit the ancient metropolis of Butrint, which received museum status in 1961 and UNESCO protection in 1992; the picturesque Blue Eye Natural Park; the captivating old hamlet of Qeparo, and you’ll have leisure time to unwind on the beautiful Himara beaches.
Furthermore, you’ll explore Përmet, also known as the ‘City of Roses’, and we’ll make a detour through Tepelena, paying a visit to Ali Pasha Tepelena Castle.
