• Asahiyama Zoo - Start your day tour by meeting your driver in Sapporo. Travel to Asahiyama Zoo and enjoy approximately 2 hours exploring and having lunch. Asahiyama Zoo, Japan’s northernmost zoo, is a must-visit during winter. Unlike many other zoos, the animals here remain active in the cold season.

Witness charming penguins strolling in the snow (from December to March), playful raccoons climbing to make faces, curious seals moving up and down in the glass column, and monkeys cuddling to stay warm.

• Shikisai no Oka - Seasonally limited (trip from Dec. 1st to Mar. 31st)
  If visiting between December 1 and March 31, view the Ken & Mary Tree from the vehicle. Then, visit Four Seasons Hill (approx. 40 minutes). When winter blankets the area in snow, the hill transforms into a snow paradise, offering snowmobiles, sledding, and other activities for everyone to enjoy the snow and nature.
• Blue Pond - Seasonally limited: (trip from Apr. 1st to Nov. 30th)

Biei Blue Pond and Shirahige Falls (trip from Apr. 1st to Nov. 30th)

From April 1 to November 30, the next stop is Biei Aoike. Spend about 30 minutes exploring this pond, created to intercept volcanic magma. Capture the breathtaking blue water and compare it to the famous default MacBook photo.

Continue to the Furano area to visit the majestic Shirahige Falls (trip from Apr. 1st to Nov. 30th). Located 600 meters above sea level in the white gold hot spring town of Miei Town, it is named “White Beard Falls” due to the white whisker-like water cascading from the rock crevices. Water emerging from the ground and splashing against the rocks creates a blue glow of spray. The mountains are lush green in summer and snowy white in winter, offering a beautiful contrast between the two seasons.

• Ningle Terrace - Conclude your tour with a visit to the iconic Ningle Terrace (closed from Nov. 4th to Nov. 29th) in Furano. Explore this workshop inspired by a character in the novels of Japanese writer Satoshi Kuramoto. Wander through the chalets and small shops to purchase a handmade souvenir to commemorate your Hokkaido adventure. (From Jan. to Mar. 2025, the final stop at Fairy Terrace may be replaced with Blue Pond due to heavy snowfall. The parking area is often covered with deep snow, increasing the risk of accidents.)

After finding the perfect souvenir, return to Sapporo.

The tour guide may adjust the duration of each attraction based on weather conditions, either extending or shortening the time as appropriate.
