Continue to one of Japan’s oldest flower fields, Farm Tomita in Furano, a lavender-focused field that has evolved into a large rural farm with up to 150 flower varieties. The lavender season typically starts in June.
In mid-August, the winter greenhouse displays various plants such as lavender and cosmos. Saffron begins blooming in mid-April, followed by daffodils and tulips in May. From the top of the lavender-covered flower field, enjoy sweeping views of the Furano Basin and the Tokachi Mountain Range.
- Ningle Terrace - Next, step into a fairytale realm with a 30-minute visit to Ningle Terrace, a handicraft workshop nestled in the green forest of Furano, inspired by a character from a novel by Japanese author Tomonori Ware.
