Unbearable destination due to the invasion of economic or day tourism. - A town, which is a wonder of history, flooded and overcrowded by three-a-quarter tourism that prevents you from even walking. Full parking lots, souvenir shops, restaurants with cider more similar to vinegar, cheese sales. We came out with a horse intestinal infection. Pay attention to the cheeses in the stores, some of which are not reliable. Summary: An impressive town for its history and monuments, but it is not recommended to visit it during July, August and September. Santander is magnificent and San Vicente de la Barquera is extraordinary for its restaurants. Comillas, similar to Santillana.
