Highlights
  • Tayrona National Park - We will pick you up at the coordinated time, and after one hour of driving, we will arrive at the Tayrona National Park entrance. After we buy the tickets, pass the security gates and drive for about 10 more minutes, we leave the car in the parking lot and from that exact moment, our journey will start. It will be hard, it’s about 4 hours of ups and downs in humid weather (it takes just 15 minutes to be soaked in sweat), however, all of that will be left behind the moment you start watching the amazing coastline full of gigantic rocks that look like prehistoric dinosaurs eggs, the beautiful flora, and if we are lucky enough the three different types of monkeys that live there. Besides nature, you will also learn about the people who used to protect the area; The Tayronas, and also, their descendants, The Koguis, Wiwas, Kankuamos, and Arhuacos, we will explain to you their costumes, their history, and their current situation since we will meet some of them on our way.

Private tour of the Tayrona Park - The private tour to the Tayrona Park was the best decision. Juan Polo was our tour guide and we were lucky to have him. He was funny, he knows a lot of. The history of the park, the nature, plants, animals , the Colombian culture, etc. he kept us going through tbd whole hike. We were able to spend a good amount of time in the main two beaches. The food was really good. Overall had an amazing time and will do it again and again. Our driver Hader was also a really nice person both Juan and Hader carry on with the conversation and we were able to learn things from Santa Marta and its surroundings.

Terrific punctual and professional company - Out of this world experience. Felt like we were in a Jurassic Park movie or something. What a beautiful hike with beaches that were incredible. Bukap was so punctual and professional. Next time I book a tour and/or transportation I’ll be comfortable knowing they will come through and take care of everything. Again really professional company with great people working for them. Couldn’t recommend any stronger

Erik: Best Tayrona Tour Guide you could ever dream up - I have never had a guide as good as Erik...in nearly every sense of what a guide can be. He was beyond knowledgeable of the rainforest - the flora, the fauna, the history of the place, the history of the indigenous people, the ties to current Colombia, etc. etc. etc. (and I emphasize the etceteras!!). You can feel his passion as he takes you across the 9-mile trek out and back. He loves Tayrona and everything in it. And his passion goes beyond walking through nature - Erik is also an accomplished and incredibly talented nature photographer (ask him to see him pictures!). From start to finish, I knew that I was in good hands. Erik loves to stop every few minutes to take a calm look and appreciate what is going on around you. Getting to the beautiful beaches was only the cherry on top of an otherwise incredible experience. In fact, if your goal is simply to just "get to the beaches as quickly as you can," I'd say you're wasting Erik's time! He'll happily take you, of course, though you are missing out on what would otherwise be such a deep and beautiful experience.

Customizable Hike, fun yet challenging - This was an amazing tour! We experienced a hard yet enjoyable hike to the beach. On the way we saw wildlife and our guide Cesar explained everything very well and answered any questions we had. He gave us options of what we wanted to do and he was very accommodating. Overall the trip was 100/10! Our driver Gabriel was very sweet. I left my wallet and he returned it back to my air bnb the next day.

Excellent teenage family hike - Erik was a very friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative guide. It was a huge benefit having him to navigate the park admission and to have priority at the park entrance to avoid the long lines waiting to enter the park. Also, being able to drive into the park meant we spent more time enjoying the hike, fauna, and beaches. During the hike Erik was able to point out notable things along the way, including history and culture related the park, including the indigenous inhabitants, and assisting with our lunch and arranging horses for two of my teenage children for the return journey. The hike is strenuous, and we kept up a solid pace, but Erik is fit and enthusiastic at all times. I thoroughly recommend this tour for a family with teenage children.

A great time - I took this tour with David and it was amazing. He shared lots of information on the history of the area and pointed out many things in nature that made the trip really interesting. The beaches and food were great. I did this tour the day before my birthday and the company surprised me with a framed picture from my day in the park. I thought this was very nice and I really appreciate the gift. Thank you for a great experience.
