- Rua 15 Agosto - Explore the bay of Santa Maria on Stand Up Paddle Boards with a qualified instructor. Take in the sites from the ocean to the land. Learn a new skill, exercise you core and mostly have fun. Pass the busy pier and see the daily catches from the water. Meeting at the shop, wetsuits and sea shoes we be provided if needed. You will have a brief explanatory session on the beach with the stand up paddle boards and then go into the water with your instructor and guide. You will then paddle the bay of Santa Maria, taking in the sites from the ocean, checking out the local fishing men returning with their catch, also an opportunity to see ocean life, feel the summer breeze and of course relax! Your instructor will be able to coach you during the tour making sure you get the best out of your paddle experience.

Paddleboard trip and lesson - Just had a paddleboard lesson with Jersy, an instructor from Surf Hub Cabo Verde. I’ve paddled before but this was my first time paddling on the sea. It was a fantastic experience. Much trickier than paddling on inland sheltered water. Loads of positive learning and great fun. Jersy, was a great instructor. He put safety at the heart of the lesson and provided calm clear communication and advice through my time with him. Surf Hub Cabo Verde is a great outfit and Amy was super helpful when working out a suitable time to book. I’ve not tried their other activities but would be confident of getting a great experience.
Surf Hub Cabo Verde is to be recommended and is a great choice for water sport activities in Sal. Thank you. I will be back.
