Great experience - My husband and I booked this excursion early in March. Our guides were brilliant, enthusiastic, fun and informative. E-bikes were great, explained well and easy to get used to. We did have an issue with one of the bikes but a phone call was made to the office and another sent out. One of the party had a few medical issues as well and Mo was superb at his first aid and keeping the rest of the group moving. Saw a lot of Santa Maria and rode across different terrains, quite fast in places. Loved the trip and would definitely recommend. Thank you

Great tour with comfy bike seats! - We did the morning tour of around the south of the island on the electric bikes and loved it! The bikes are really easy to use and make easy work of a morning's cycling. You can use the bike with pedal assist and or it's own power (no cycling) . The ladies bikes saddles were very comfy so no soreness at all. I want one of those seats!! The two guides were great, lots of information over a good number of stops- good beach bar stop as the last stop. An excellent way to spend the morning and see Santa Maria, great value for money! Electric fat bike took us around with no stress - Great trip with excellent guiding! Very comfortable bikes. We got to know the history of Cape Verde and of Sal, we saw the presidential residence, the sea shell cemetery, salt mines and more

Fabulous excursion.! - We went on this excursion last week and absolutely loved it. I’m quite a fair weather cyclist but found the bikes really easy to use and in no time at all, I was on level 5 and using the turbo-boost!! It was such an exhilarating experience.
Thanks so much to Mo and his colleague for their expert knowledge and thanks too to Mechanic our 4 legged guide who followed us everywhere and was definitely part of the pack! We thought the information given was really interesting and it was great to be away from the resort for a change.
One thing I’d just like to recommend and that’s to wear a helmet if you can. Not just from a safety point of view but to protect your head and ears from sunburn. I wish I’d have done it but I learnt the hard way!! So don’t forget your sun cream folks.

A must do amazing fun tour - Absolutely fantastic fun whatever your cycling level.bikes well maintained good suspension and huge fat tyres cope easily with the terrain I used electric all the way but you can pedal and use electric up to you.a huge shout out to moe joe and Meg the dog 🐶 who protected the bike pack and followed us faithfully around the stops the guides were informative and so helpful and friendly a must do trip good value too cheers

The most amazing dog! - Five stars - a great trip, very highly recommend! The tour guides were excellent and we were joined by their assistant, a lovely dog called Mechanic. Our guide told us that since a puppy he has done the daily bike tours - he started in the basket of one of the bikes - check out the pic! Now Mechanic is 8 years old but still travels the entire tour each day - it's a long, tough route but he somehow manages to catch up and keep up with the group. He clearly loves his job and we thought he was the highlight of our trip.

A great way to see some of Sal - Thanks Mo & Joe for a great tour. Good banter a long the way and some interesting talks. Highly recommend this one. Special thanks to Mechanic for providing extra entertainment and catching up eventually 😁🐕

A great way to explore around Santa Maria - Great fun - it was first time I’d ridden an e-bike and loved it. We were a group on about 24 or so with a guide and a back marker. We stopped off a various places, including the municipal market and near the President’s house, the salt pans and the turtle reserve. We finished the tour in a bar on the beach….perfect! The fat tyres made it fun on the sand !

Great trip for all abilities - Great trip for all abilities---within reason
I go on long and technical mountain trips at home once -twice weekly and enjoyed it.
My wife has not been on a bike for years and also enjoyed it.

PS if you go on a self guided trip the non electric bikes are very heavy and hard work-I would pay the extra and get the electric version

Good fun, encouraging staff. - We saw some cool and interesting parts of the island, the guides were very knowledgeable. I wasn’t confident on the bike and the staff were supportive and encouraging. Highly recommend.
