There, you’ll discover artwork by notable local artists, delve into the work on view through a fun and insightful technique for art interpretation, and visit a gorgeous sculpture garden.
- Gerald Peters Gallery - Next door, in an impressive and airy gallery space, Peters Projects features a range of fascinating artwork by local and international cutting-edge contemporary artists.
- Canyon Road - You’ll get a taste of Canyon Road, Santa Fe’s historic arts district and home to over 80 galleries, as we stroll to the final gallery.
- Wiford Gallary and Sculpture Garden - Our final gallery stop features a serene wind sculpture garden at a gorgeous Canyon Road gallery.
- Kakawa Chocolate House - To conclude the tour, we’ll visit Kakawa Chocolate House and indulge in tantalizing chocolate elixirs that stimulate the senses with unique combinations of herbs, spices, and fine drinking chocolate. two of our favorite things...art and chocolate!! - It was a pleasure to spend 2 hours on a walking tour of the Plaza area of Santa Fe! Elaine was a delightful guide who immersed us in the rich history of this charming city. She shared her wealth of knowledge of the pottery, art, and sculptures that are indigenous to Santa Fe, and at the end of the tour we were treated to delicious, handcrafted chocolates...yum! We highly recommend this tour as a way to get to know Santa Fe.

art & chocolate is fabulous! - Santa Fe Art Tours is excellent! We are locals and did this tour for our visiting family. The personal guide with the Santa Fe galleries was welcoming and fun. Talking about art with participatory experiences made it real even if not an art background. And of course, the chocolate elixers at Kakawa Chocolate house wrapped up a wonderful tour! Highly recommended.

Santa Fe Art Tours - This was one of the best art tours I've ever had because our art expert/guide picked some beautiful galleries for us to visit and ended it with something very special. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and taught us all something about how to interpret art, making the entire experience more meaningful. I would definitely take this tour.

Drawn in by chocolate, fell in love with the art - Elaine was amazing. It was our first time in Santa Fe, and we wanted to learn more about the art, but were excited by the promise of chocolate. But the tour was incredible, so much better than we expected because it really gave us great tools to appreciate the artwork. It didn't feel didactic or stodgy, but instead Elaine encouraged us to explore what appealed to us about the art and to spend time considering it, with an approachable set of steps that really gave each of us a more personal connection to what we were looking at. The chocolate was wonderful too, but the way it taught us to better look at and think about art was what really wowed us. Thank you!

Very informative and interesting tour! - Elaine, our tour guide, was great! The two hours passed by way too quickly! We learned a lot about the Santa Fe art scene and some tips on how to appreciate a work of art. Highly recommend this tour!

Educational and enjoyable! - My wife, daughter (soon to be 13yo) and I enjoyed this tour today and would highly recommend it. Elaine took us to three galleries of varying styles, and each stop was interesting and educational. Elaine is both knowledgeable and personable, and helped us understand and appreciate the art we experienced. At the end, over an chocolate elixir tasting, Elaine gave us many great suggestions for other galleries and restaurants to visit on our own after the tour. Definitely make time for this tour during your visit to Santa Fe!

Thought provoking - Tour guide was friendly and gave us lots of help on new ways to look at art. We went to galleries we would never known about on our own. Especially entrance and sculpture fun way to spend time with an excellent guide. Sh was very well versed in all types of art and artists.

Get into the Art - I thoroughly enjoyed the art tour as the guide helped us get to know the paintings and sculptures in a totally different light. I learned so much and viewing art now is so much better with the skills I developed.
The chocolate tasting was very short. I enjoyed it but didn't find it as enjoyable as the art discussion! Thanks.

Great galleries - I enjoyed the galleries and our guide. She was very attentive and explained things that made me look at the art work differently. The end of the tour at the chocolate place was, to me, a waste of time.
