A relaxing session, informative and educational. - A very memorable afternoon. You will not only learn about how to make the island's most famous drink, but also quite a bit of history about the Balearics themselves. Also, the beach setting is worth it alone.

Workshop Hierbas - We had an really amazing time during the workshop with Phillip. He makes it very nice and the place was good. Also getting a bottle to take home is very nice. So you can show everybody at home what hierbas tastes like. We would recommend everybody to do this workshop. It would be an addition to your holiday!

Interesting and fun! - Me and my friend had a fantastic time with Phil, learning about local history of the liqueur and local herbs used. Phil is a fantastic teacher explaining everything and answering any questions. The workshop would be amazing even without, but to get to have a go at making my own Hierbas was icing on the cake! It was great to be told how to customise the herbs and quantities used to your own taste (and how to make it how your friend doesn’t like so she won’t steal any!). I would very highly recommend this workshop to anyone even the slightest bit interested in liqueurs/local history. Thanks, Phil!

Hierbas Workshop - THE BEST! - PhillipThomas owned and teaches the Yierbas workshop. I would recommend to contact the vendor a day before for the right location since there are three different locations because Viator might have the wrong location printed in your confirmation. My mom and I had a blast during the workshop and it was the highlight of our trip in Ibiza, Spain. Also, during the workshop, we made our own Hierbas to take with us home. My mom can't stop talking about it with her friends when she get back in the U.S. Phillip is edifying when he teached. The overall experiences was memorable and amazing. A definitely "MUST DO" when you are in Ibiza. It's not just partying and drinking in Ibiza. There are other things the island can offer like this workshop. You will have the BEST time in your life!

Excellent workshop! - We attended this workshop on August 25 at the Kasbah restaurant. The workshop consists of 3 parts: history of hierbas liqueur, tasting different hierbas and making your own hierbas! Very good information and an enthousiastic host, a must do when you are on Ibiza! We can't wait to taste our own hierbas (3 months).

Fantastic session with Phil - We really enjoyed our three hours with Phil. We arrived at 4pm and went foraging for herbs to use in our hierbas. From the get go, you could tell this chap was knowledgable and pointed out the different types of juniper (and how you could tell) as well as helping us pick other herbs such as rosemary, fennel, wild thyme and sage to use in our hierbas when we got back to the workshop. When we got back, we had a number of different samples to try so we could get a feel for how vastly different the flavours can be across the commercial brands as well as having the opportunity to taste his own. This gave us all a great idea of what flavours we would enjoy most. Once the tastings were done, we began to pop our own herbs into our individual bottles and were given some guidance on how much of each to add so we could achieve our own unique flavour profile. Once complete, our bottles were filled with alcohol before being sealed with wax. Overall the workshop was great fun and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to do something different whilst embracing part of the ibizan culture. We can't wait to try our finished product in 3 months when it's ready.

Unique Experience - This experience was SO MUCH fun! Phillip is an excellent host providing the history of hierbas, along with eduction on the various herbs. You get to taste several popular hierbas and Phillip’s personal creation (his was our favorite!). The venue at Kasbah is great - right on the sunset strip. Creating your own hierbas was such a cool experience and we’re going home with a unique souvenir that we get to share, remember and enjoy in the future. Highly recommend this workshop!
