762P85G4+VXP - Our 2 hour lessons (min 2 guests) are unlike the other schools which are only 90 minutes.& begin with a 10 minute land lesson where you will learn, practice & get a safety talk . We then take you out for 45 minutes to an hour where you will always be with your instructor & learn to surf. Next is a 10 minute break where we provide you with fresh pineapple & ice water before going back out for the last hour of the lesson. You will be catching your own waves in no time as our instructors are among the best in Costa Rica & make sure you have fun.
We take children as young as 4-our instructors are amazing with children and we have had beginners as young as 75 out. At our secluded beach, we are the only ones there and you avoid the crowded, rocky areas of Tamarindo (we are right across from Tamarindo). Our beach is a sand walk out with no rock - perfect for beginners with great waves as well!
Our class sizes are no more than 4 students per instructor and we offer semi-private and private as well (ask for details).

Our secluded beach is the ultimate place to learn to surf with the best company in Costa Rica. No worries about 100s of other surfers around you and Playa Grande is a beautiful beach as well. The waves are awesome for beginners to intermediate surfers and we only surf around the high tide to give you the best possible waves. We take special care in every customer to make sure they have the best day of their vacation and take 150-250 pictures and video to prove it.

Best afternoon surfing! - Tim and his team somehow got all 5 of us up (ranging in ages 8-66). It was such an incredible afternoon and such a great way to get us all out of our comfort zones. Our instructors were incredibly kind and patient with all of us. Tim had cold water, fresh pineapple, and banana bread waiting when we needed a break. He also helped us plan a few other aspects of our trip that were phenomenal.

Fantastic for whole family of beginners - Just a fantastic experience all around. They had our entire group (family and friends, including 5 kids) up and surfing. The beach really is secluded and it was a magical experience surfing at sunset. Will 100% recommend this group for lessons.

A Fun Adventure - The teachers were patient, kind and genuinely wanted to see us succeed. They took time with each of us and were very knowledgeable. The fresh pineapple and cold water were an added bonus. We were very glad we booked this adventure!

Awesome Experience for us First Time Surfers!!! - Three of us couples (all in our 60's) booked a surfing lesson with Tim and had an unbelievable experience! From when we first booked the lesson, the communication was excellent (and encouraging as we were somewhat nervous!!) When we arrived at the secluded beach we were given some instruction by JP and Johel and within no time we ALL got up!! They were all incredibly patient and supportive of our efforts! We couldn't have been more excited!! Tim took photos that we now have to treasure and remember our adventure! Not only that, but Tim made him self available for any questions we might have during our time in Costa Rica!! I can't recommend Mojo Surf Adventures more highly!!
