Experience the splendor of La Mision from a unique perspective - horseback! Our equestrian adventure is suitable for all age groups and skill levels.
Upon your arrival at the ranch, we’ll pair you with your horse - and each one boasts its own unique characteristics! With our horses chosen, we will briefly run through horse riding basics before embarking on our ride.
Our seasoned wranglers will guide your journey, trotting through vibrant estuary trails, alongside the river, and eventually reaching the beach. Here, you’ll follow the edge of Playa La Mision, the most stunning beach in Baja California.
Following your ride, you’ll return to the ranch to unwind amidst genuine Mexican hospitality. And of course, our 10 rescue dogs, donkey, goats, and sheep, in addition to the horses, will eagerly await your affectionate head pats!

Great people. Our cruise... - Great people. Our cruise changed port days, they knew about it and rescheduled our ride and transportation before I even had to ask.

Listed as 2 hrs but it's between 75 and 90 minutes - Listed as 2 hrs but when you get there they tell you it's between 75 and 90 minutes. Other than that, it was such a fun activity. Will do it again when we're back in the area.

Was great to get my... - Was great to get my daughter back on a horse. The horses were great and were not the normal, tour horses which don't move these were ready to run if you wanted. Great service & great folks!!!!

Great excursion!! - The ride was great— Jose and family took care of everyone in our group. The hoses were calm, and the ride was beautiful. We even saw dolphins playing in the surf as we rode on the beach. 10/10!!!

So much fun and excellent experience - Jose and his son made the experience perfect for us and twin 15 yr old boys. If you are looking to horse back ride, this is the outfit for you. The boys were galloping and having so much fun on the beach.
Transportation to and from was perfect. Enrique, the taxi driver, was perfect. After the ride, he took up to a local taco place that was best tacos we’ve ever had.

Amazing! - Our family recently had the most incredible beach horseback riding experience with Horses by Jose and we cannot stop raving about it!
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The guides, Erin, Hector, and Jose, were not only knowledgeable and experienced but also made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire ride.
The horses were well-cared for and matched to our riding abilities, allowing us to fully enjoy the breathtaking views of the ocean. Riding and galloping along the beach was an absolute dream come true, creating unforgettable memories for our family.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Erin, Hector, and Jose for the wonderful adventure.

Fun activity for the whole family. No experience needed! - Great place to take a ride on wonderfully kept horses. Kids really enjoyed the novelty of riding on the beach! Would go again.

Well worth the trip compared to other horse rides - Everything was great, taxi pick up only five minutes from cruise ship. Taxi driver was great as well as the crew at the horse ride.

Do it!! - I wish I could give 10 stars! What an experience - Jose, Alex all the boys gave us the memory of a lifetime and made my daughters dream come true. Excellent communication - a perfect day! Horses are well cared for - beautiful place!!
