Great Tour- Helpful tips in Review - Osmaro was fantastic! A terrific guide! This was a totally worth it experience and I would highly recommend it! Just a few tips for future travelers: The hike was definitely for moderate fitness levels and appropriate hiking shoes are a must for rocky terrain. (If not hiking boots, then sneakers for sure.) You can leave belongings in the van during the hike for the lake and make sure you layer on sunscreen or wear a hat! Got very sunburnt but also sweat off sunscreen so that's my fault. Also, make sure to bring a few dollars on the hike with you. There is an amazing and necessary man who carries popsicles to the top of the volcano and he's a savior in the heat! Lastly, bring your bathing suit, towel, and sandals to change in to at the lake. We all forgot at least one of these items- pack a bag the night before! Overall- You'll have an AMAZING time though and if you're able to have Osmaro as your guide, it will be the cherry on top.

Santa Ana Volcano Hike A Must! - The hike up Santa Ana Volcano was treacherous (for me) but in the end it was worth it, so beautiful and breathtaking! David was my tour guide, he spoke perfect English, very patient, kind, and understanding as it took me some time to climb the volcano. David took lots of pictures of me once I reached the top of the volcano. If you go as a couple or solo like myself, you are in good hands with him. After the hike, David took me to a local restaurant overlooking the lake, the FOOD WAS EXCELLENT, the people were WELCOMING, and the view was AMAZING!

What an Adventure - Rafael gave us a lot of facts through our whole trip and we truly enjoyed it! The hike up the volcano is not for everyone. It was a tough one for us. We made it and it was worth it but would prob not do that again lol. Lunch was at a great restaurant overlooking Lake Coatepeque. The tour details said we would get to swim but we jst ate and that was it. That was disappointing but overall a great experience.
