THE BEST INCLUSIVE COMPANY WITHOUT TIME RESTRICTION. - Petate is a family own company, I would not have enough space to say how well they treated my husband and me, passionate about their work, with a wide knowledge of their culture, very polite, respectful and very inclusive, they taught us the whole country without time restriction, their vehicles are very clean and new. We took almost all the tours and they always arrived on time and they made suggestions to us, Mr. Rafael and his son Osmaro are very nice and very well educated people, they are always willing to listen to us and make us have a very nice vacation, we had one of the most beautiful vacations thanks to this company, I highly recommend them to all those people who come to El Salvador for the first time, they will not regret it. Amazing views - Rafa was great, gave us a ton of history and information. We opted not to swim but to go to Vista lago (restaurant above the lake). The views at the volcano, hike, and restaurant were phenomenal. I would recommend this over a large group and the early morning start let's you avoid the crowds and heat.

A Must do when you are in El Salvador - This was a amazing experience! The view from the top of volcano was insane. Worth every step we had to take to reach the top. Our guide great and Helped us out and explained everything in detail. He went out of his way to make sure we had fun and was enjoyable. We even stopped at an awesome coffee shop which had great views of the lake. Definitely worth every penny.

An experience you’ll never forget - This was an incredible tour- Osmaro our tour guide went above and beyond to make sure it was an experience we’d never forget. Be wary of large group tours- this tour by Viator is small and starts early before the crowds. You won’t regret the early wake up

Great Tour- Helpful tips in Review - Osmaro was fantastic! A terrific guide! This was a totally worth it experience and I would highly recommend it! Just a few tips for future travelers: The hike was definitely for moderate fitness levels and appropriate hiking shoes are a must for rocky terrain. (If not hiking boots, then sneakers for sure.) You can leave belongings in the van during the hike for the lake and make sure you layer on sunscreen or wear a hat! Got very sunburnt but also sweat off sunscreen so that's my fault. Also, make sure to bring a few dollars on the hike with you. There is an amazing and necessary man who carries popsicles to the top of the volcano and he's a savior in the heat! Lastly, bring your bathing suit, towel, and sandals to change in to at the lake. We all forgot at least one of these items- pack a bag the night before! Overall- You'll have an AMAZING time though and if you're able to have Osmaro as your guide, it will be the cherry on top.

Beautiful hike! - We had a great hike with Osmaro. He shared a bit of historical context about El Salvador and was patient with us as we climbed. The hike is totally worth it. We witnessed all ages in all kinds of footwear doing the hike. Do this hike!
