Volcanoes and francis - This trip was amazing! It definitely was a little challenging but the views up top was worth it. The pacing of the hike was done well. Our guide was Francis and he did a phenomenal job. If you choose to do this hike, I definitely recommend choosing him. The drive to and from the location was comfortable. In the morning, he made sure we made a pit stop for breakfast and a chance to buy water/use the bathroom. He knew a lot about the land and is very knowledgable about the nations wildlife and everything nature. He was willing to talk about anything regarding El Salvador. From the economy to the politics and even the recreational activities around the area. He was very generous and attentive. He even brought his drone to take videos and pictures for us. We also went to a really nice restaurant by the lake. He was on time and responsive. He was very personable and kind! We really enjoyed this trip and would do it again! Thank you Francis :)

Great Excursion - This was a great tour! Definitely a must do. It was a medium to hard hike, so if your out of shape like me, better get your cardio skills up.. Osmaro was the best tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about his country, very patient with the group, cause I needed alot of breaks..lol, and a fantastic photographer. He made the excursion that more enjoyable. Definitely recommend asking for him on the tour. Definitely a great tour!

Challenging, but worthwhile. - This is a challenging hike, but doable. Wear appropriate hiking shoes and clothing. I highly recommend a hiking stick. It can get really dusty in some areas so bring something to cover your nose and mouth. Our guide Josue, was excellent. He provided a lot of information about El Salvador and the area. He even helped me order an off-menu meal for me at the restaurant at the lake since I am vegetarian.

Lake Coatepeaqe - Overall it was nice hike and the view of the crater was beautiful. The lunch was not well suited for vegetarians.

Sooo fun! - This tour was amazing!! My guide was Josué and he did such a great job. He was very informative and has such a lively personality. When he tells you that he’s going to take your pictures, trust him! He takes the best 😁😁 You can tell he enjoys his job and cares for the country. The hike was great. You don’t necessarily need to be in shape but it does help. Lunch at the lake after was the perfect ending.

Great hike! - Our tour guide Gaby was great! Hike was medium dificulty, anyone can make it, just take your time! View at the top is spectacular!

Nice day tour! - Our guide Gaby was great, gave us a nice history of the country and it's volcanoes en route. The pick up and drop off service is excellent. We were glad we started early 6.15am pick up as when we descended the volcano hundreds of people were coming up, so good to start early! Crater lake is spectacular as are the benched profile of the crater itself. 30 minutes at the top was sufficient time to take it all in. A great day tour experience when in El Salvador!

Good experience - Great driver and guide. Moderate hike Lunch spot has good view with fair prices. I recommend the pupusas.

Great day tour of Volcan Santa Ana - The tour is exactly as described and our tour guide Josue over delivered. Josue made the day amazing by sharing a ton of great info about El Salvador. The tour accommodates peopled staying in San Salvador and El Tunco which is very convenient. Josue takes great pics as well which is a plus! Great experience in a great country.
