Day of 10 in El Salvador - I was lucky enough to do my tour alone and with David as my accompanying guide. I say lucky, because that made the tour very personalized. From the beginning David was very understanding and waited for me at the meeting point until traffic allowed me to arrive. During the way to the area where the volcano climbed, he told me the history of the country and answered my numerous questions and curiosities. Once we reached the hill and started to climb, we set the pace of the climb, we went fast and made stops when I needed to, but in general I did it without a problem (it's just that as you go up the oxygen level decreases and it becomes more difficult to breathe). ). But all that is not a problem when you reach the top and see the views of the volcano while eating a popsicle in the fresh air. By the way, you have to be prepared to be hot and cold throughout the entire journey. It is really worth it, the entire path is beautiful, you see the change of vegetation and how impressive nature is. The descent is much faster and more bearable, even more so with a good conversation. Afterwards we went to Lake Coatepeque to eat (delicious and varied, good value for money), while you enjoy the views and rest your legs. In general my experience was a 10, perhaps also when I go alone it becomes very personal. Having David as a guide was very comfortable and gratifying, he is very natural and has very complete information about his entire country, which he conveys perfectly. In addition, he cares about you and tries to make you enjoy the experience as much as possible. Thank you very much David for this good day, I wish you the best!!!

Enamorada de El Salvador / In love with El Salvador - 🇨🇴 Qué experiencia tan maravillosa! 🇺🇲 What a wonderful experience! From start to finish, this tour was spectacular. Francis' attention to give the recommendations for the tour was the best. Josué is the best tour guide on the planet: always on time, very patient, knows a lot about the history of El Salvador, explained curious facts, we felt very comfortable all the way with him until we reached the top, there was never a hurry to enjoy the scenery, and besides, he is the best photographer. Highly recommended 1000%.

Best Tour and Tour Guide - I was very excited for this day trip and Francis was the best guide I could have asked for. He was punctual, mannerly, and spoke very good English as well. He was very knowledgeable about the terrain, the animals, the surrounding area, its history, and El Salvador in general. Francis is very fit and we made it up the volcano very quickly under his lead. Francis is very in tune with nature and he also takes the BEST photos. He knows the volcano well and he can get the best angle so that you can have pictures to cherish forever! He also knows the perfect spot for a picture with the lake in the background after the climb. The restaurant for lunch had a gorgeous view and was very relaxing after a hard climb. If Francis is your guide, you will not be disappointed!

The best tour company in El Salvador - This is the most friendly tour operator I have ever had. Francis was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire time we spent with him. He helped our entire family to hike the Santa Ana volcano considering that we had minors and seniors. Francis gave us tremendous recommendation about where to eat and where to go. This is the best experience with ever had. Thank you Francis…

Francis is awesome 😎 - Francis was great! He was our groups guide for a few tours. He was super informative and funny. It was really cool to hear all the indigenous history and to hear the history of El Salvador. The volcano was absolutely amazing. I got the coffee ice cream at the top and it was the next thing especially after that hike.

Amazing Experience - 10/10 Recommend!! - Our tour guide Francis was amazing! SO knowledgeable, patient, passionate about sharing the history and culture, and funny. Very accommodating as well. The views at Volcán Santa Ana and Lago Coatepeque were spectacular! The food at Asado was very good (and for a good price) - I ate the churrasco. Thank you Francis for a five star experience! Would recommend him to everyone - his knowledge about the history, landscape, wildlife, culture, etc. was extensive and fascinating. Also, speaks very good English (as well as spanish and French).

Carlos was great! Volcano spectacular. Rules for tourist's punctuality need to be applied. - Carlos our guide was great! Sadly, one of the group was really problematic - she didn't wake up on time, gave the wrong hotel address, so we had to delay our departure for 50 minutes. Later, she insisted on walking up to the summit even though she was overweight and very slow, so that we had to wait another 45 minutes to see whether she made it down the volcano. In fact, after waiting that long, the rest of the group (6 other people) had to leave her to get a very late lunch; it turned out that despite a curfew of 1 pm, she didn't get down until 3:30 pm, so that the rangers and police had to be alerted. Thank goodness she had her own car, so good riddance! There needs to be some procedure whereby one inconsiderate, selfish tourist who doesn't think of anybody else's welfare does not ruin the schedule for a bunch of everybody else in a group. That is NOT Carlos' fault - every person on your tours should sign a waiver so that if they're late for something, they are left to fend for themselves so they don't wind up wasting everybody elses' time. In our case, with 6 people, a total of over 9 man hours was wasted waiting for this problematic tourist - we could have spent it doing other things. FYI we didn't pay $90 each to wait around for 1 1/2 hours each. Luckily, because of Caro's enthusiasm and responsiveness, the tour was a success despite him having to deal with that terrible, selfish person in our group,. I hope the company will figure out how to keep such terrible people from impacting your tours.

Maybe next time - They had to cancel my reservation for the tour the morning of, so I wasn’t able to go. I can’t comment on the tour itself. I took a taxi to the Cerro Verde anyway, but wasn’t able to climb to the top due to getting there too late. Just bad luck.
